  1. Holy crap... Hasbro really does need to start cracking down already... look at all those SDCC Nemesis Primes... that's a con exclusive he's got 50 of stolen there...
  2. Lockdown's neat, but Ratchet is pure TF love...
  3. After the tease of that first episode, I would VERY much like to see all of Layzner subbed... EDIT: Fang of the Sun Dougram is my real holy grail tho...
  4. I'm gonna make a hack-job of the sheet anyway... gotta cut out the ones I need in photoshop to get a white background. Thanks again!
  5. YAY! Thanks soooo much.
  6. Still hoping to find these in 1/72...
  7. drifand... I'd go with a big no, and that's a good point to bring up early... I'm still waiting for a new VOTOMS mold...
  8. Glad to hear it was decent, and I'll make sure to stay for after the credits... the previews and toys have looked craptastic so far, but I do love Edward Norton, so I was hoping this wouldn't suck.
  9. Starscream's bit of auto-transforming technology is neat, as when you swing the legs down, the rest of the figure pretty much transforms itself... all in all I'm much more impressed with the few auto-transforming features included in these toys than I was with any pics and reviews I saw of the movie figs. Think I may wait for Prowl w/ Sidecar to come out as well...
  10. I've been wondering that myself VH... I'd really like to find an Earthmode Prime...
  11. Ha, thanks for that... I must admit, I'm usually rather underwhelmed with FSM buildups... their review builders are either way rushed, or simply really boring bland modelers... some of the buildup articles are decent, but I've never been too impressed with FSM... if you want to see lots of good tank buildups that are waaay better than my stuff, Military Model International is the mag to read... every month I am blown away by this publication.
  12. I'm just upset that the only Earth-mode Megs is the Leader-sized one... I've been digging the opportunity to own all of the good characters and toys at the smaller price ranges, and really, figures like Ratchet are the perfect size for me... that's why I was so glad Earth-mode Prime is a smaller sized fig.
  13. I feel sorry for you guys with loose hand bits... the fingers and such stay perfectly on my Ratchet and SS, and I'm really glad that we're getting figures with open poseable hands instead of peg-fists after almost 25 years...
  14. I downloaded and watched this, and I have to say... this is the single most ridiculous anime I've ever watched ... I'd love to see the other two parts.
  15. Still need this if anyone's got it...
  16. Did a Wally World raid today with my little brother... he found the only Lugnut there, and grabbed Lockdown and BB... I grabbed Ratchet and Starscream. These are some of the nicest TF toys we've seen in a looooong time.
  17. I personally LOVE the first movie... it retains just enough of the book's feel to have the same messages if you look for them, and is full of really good action... I haven't watched the second one yet. I didn't realize there was an anime series... all I've seen are the first two eps of the CGI mini-movies, which are decent, but would be much better with more gritty and realistic sound-effects...
  18. Awesome pics... and the paint jobs look surprisingly good. Any articulation on these?
  19. Any articulation on these?
  20. Well, the red parts are quite glossy right now bc/ they're bright red with no shading, and the model is shiny, awaiting decals... I'll unify everything later with a matte finish and some oil weathering.
  21. Do you mean the leg comes off when you pose it, or the parts holding the socket in come apart? Sounds like the socket is too small or the ball too big... if you wanted to retain posability, you could pick up some ball-joints from HLJ and replace the kit parts.
  22. I thought that Arcee design is from the first movie anyway...
  23. Put a post with two pics on the Workbench thread...
  24. 1/72 resin Glaug awaiting decals and some serious weathering... it's the recast offered on HobbyFan, and I'm not sure of it's origins... normally I'd not buy something recasted from HF, but I really wanted a Glaug to fight my Destroids, and was stuck. It's nothing spectacular, but the casting was good and it looks nice all built-up. Took a whole lot of pins tho to make the arms stable
