I noticed that my sent PMs haven't been saving in my folders, and was wondering if there was a way to enable this that I can't find? EDIT: Huh, a quick search of the forum found my asking this question two years ago and getting a response... guess I was just too dumb to remember it.

You just need to delete the cache on your laptop to clear out the old avatar when you're viewing... it shows as Eva-1 for everyone else now regardless.

I preordered my Alto from BBTS... they should have it within a week or two usually... if you want the toy immediately you might want to consider HLJ, but the conversion rate'll kill ya.

Having made a number of Bandai kits myself, I'm quite confident what he's referring to is the damage to the paint on the transformable 25 kit, something completely unavoidable no matter how hard they try... this shouldn't an issue on a prebuilt toy.

Provided the toy is fun and well made I don't care about minimal inaccuracies, and what I've seen of the figure design and proportion-wise so far has made me happy enough.

You would go and announce the Glaug only a couple months after I finished my recast one... oh well, guess I'll have to get your version

Looks great, but you already knew that I agree that the orange nosecone and details do break up the monotonous greys nicely.

I'm getting one DX Chogokin VF-25 for now, and planning on buying the whole squad in 1/100... I like the idea of having a universal display from all the series quite a bit, and while Yamato's 1/60 line currently has a decent showing, those toys are few and far between, and quite expensive. The idea of a smaller comprehensive line is extremely appealing both for its cost and depth, provided Bandai delivers. I've bought plenty of Bandai products from various lines, and have rarely been disappointed, so I'm optimistic about this line, and honestly, the parts swapping really isn't that big a deal. Like I said, I loooove PT masterpiece-esque figures like the Yamatos (and hopefully the DX 25), but for the sake of having a complete line of figures, I'd rather go cheaper.

It's such a minor set of parts... I think most of us naysayers will live. I for one am ok with that small amount of swapping provided they fit together well.

The ratio's supposed to get a little better after the new year, but it really looks like it'll be shite for a while... I'm rather upset, what with all the MacF stuff on the imminent horizon.

As am I, but the thing is, with the dollar to yen as bad as it is, I just can't bring myself to make any major purchase from HLJ right now... that sale price will only get better if the dollar picks up.

Looks like just Yamato, based on the fact that my Chogokin DX Alto preorder is AOK.

I followed up with BBTS, and they assured me any products currently listed will be honored, including the MacF related preorders and stuff like the YF-19 and 21 Revoltechs (all of which I have on preorder).

I preorded the Alto from BBTS... are Ozma and Alto coming out at the same time, or is oen before the other?

I responded to BBTS saying it was a shame HG/Toynami had made this move, and if only Toynami could justify the move by releasing some quality products to replace Yamato's

Hi all, As I mentioned in the Destroid thread, I was curious why BBTS did not carry any of the Destroid line as I want to finally pick up a Tomahawk and usually buy from BBTS. When I asked about getting the 'Hawk or any other Destroids, I received the following... is this a development I missed, or news to other people as well? It also seems odd that this info kinda snuck under the radar... especially with BBTS still having some Yamato Valks on preorder... guess those will just never be filled and they'll never bother to tell anyone who doesn't ask.

Huh, sounds like an amazing kit... wonder how hard it will be to track down.

Anyone know why BBTS doesn't have any of the Destroids listed? I really want to finally get the Tomahawk so I can customize it, but I am trying to avoid buying anything substantial from HLJ any time soon.

I can't decide which lines you scribed, so I'd say they worked well... what did you use?

Hey Hikuro, I just finally got around the dling and watching your DYRL Dub, and I've gotta hand it to you, it was fantastic. A big part of why I always thought DYRL was really boring was bc/ it's really slow in the middle anyway, but to then also have to read the subtitles made it borderline unbearable. Your dub really brought the film to life tho, and I enjoyed watching DYRL more than I ever have. I wish you the best on your Mac0 dub, and look forward to it!

I edited out the typo, no worries. I needed a new all-weather jacket today and got it in black... I'm debating buying the patches from HLJ, but the dollar to yen sucks right now and they're backordered on the SMS patch... I'm trying to see if anyone can find me the three patches here like at Frank and Sons or something... I need one of each patch, SMS, Mac25, and the Skull Squadron... I probably won't bother to add the red trim to the jacket tho.
