I spent most of last night stickering my VF-1S Roy and re-doing the Fast Packs with Roy's makrings using the Takatoys stickers as well.... I do everything except the wing NO STEPs...I LOVE all the little warning texts and such, But I just cant bring myself to do all of those NO STEPs on the wings.... I also added some extra markings to the Striker armor that looks really good.... might have to take a pic...
Ditto.... this is what I do with my Iron Man animated series figures.... cut top and sides so that it can flap open forwards.... just watch out because the edges can be sharp!
I can't beleive the Max 1A has shot up that much.... it was going to be my next 1/48 because it is a character I dont have and was pretty cheap, but now I've got a CF on pre-order instead.
Can we get some product details on this Rustall stuff? The reults are astounding... I wonder if I could pull it off in scale on Battletech minis.... might be too small. I always do my mecha weathered properly like tanks because that's exactly what they are, bipedal tanks.
I just got home from summer camp to find my copy sitting on my bed and all I have to say is: WOW. What a gorgeous book... I can't read the text, but the lineart is gorgeous and the rough sketches and variants are sweet.
And yet those suckers sell like nuts.... I dont know if they hit the casual fan well enough, but they are most certainly a hardcore TFer's dream come true.
