  1. Sweet. I'd love to see your Hazel. I've got another 78G comming soon, so be ready... this one's better weathered and more subtle..I'm much happier with it so far.
  2. I just finsiehd watching Stardust Memories, probably my favorite Gundam series. I'm not sure I understand your question though. If you're asking if the models are anime-accurate, then I hope because I'm getting the Perfect Grade Unit 01....
  3. Trigger: Is it just teh pictures, or is that kit really really hugely big? It looks ginoirmous for some reason...
  4. Woah woah woah woah.... not all of us! I hate Tarentino soooo much... and like real sophistication! Yeah! Teen-power!
  5. I'm not sure Graham's man enough to make whoopie with his woman 24/7... judging by the fact that he is an integral part of an anime fansite, I figure he's more of the fist-baby type... that or he's secretly building a nuclear warhead with Toynami and Harmony Gold's names on it...
  6. That's amazing! I spy Gundam kit parts. Seriosuly, that is amazing. How did you start this project? It is truly impressive.
  7. The only thing I could think of to get just the decals is to take some fine grit sandpaper and carefully sand off the decals and touch up the paint underneath. You certtainly aren't going to be able to soak any strippers on the decals and get just them without messing up the paint.
  8. What's a Chicago Typewriter?
  9. Ouch...and it's A1 for the win! EDIT: And how come you're never on AIM when i'm on anymore?
  10. The Last Starfighter. It's definetaly my favorite crappy movie... although I watch really bad movies just for the laughs (Mary Shelly'S Frankenstein with Robert Dinero as the monster and John Cleese as the mentor) I also love Robin Hood Men In Tights (watched it today in school) and Super Troopers, but I don't consider these bad movies at all....
  11. Here are some shots of my latest work, a Ground Assault Gundam from 08th MS Team's Battaltion with markings of a different squad...
  12. I've been watching thru the Cartoon Network dubs and they seem like really good dubs to me. Just gotta wait until the 8th for the last few episodes to air.... can't wait.
  13. Yeah, while I hate the gold bits and the aesthetics of SEED designs, that is still a pretty impressive looking piece...
  14. Where are the pictures of the next wave? And just how many Subaru mold figures do we need? It's getting rediculous... stop re-releasing the original now pretty crappy Alternator design... I don't think I'm going to buy anything except new molds from here on out unless it's a good character.... I'm a compeltist, but it's getting annoying...
  15. Hi, Zero-Mare.... could you post up a pic of that next to an MG kit for scale? And you don't have the 1/550 EX mechanics ones two for comparison, do you? I'm tryin to figure out how big the EX one is so I can prepare enough space
  16. Hi again guys, Anyone got the HGUC Dendrobium? Dalong.net has some pretty impressive pictures of it... I'm already getting the 1/550 EX mechanics set, but the HGUC looks like a pretty damn impressive centerpiece for a collection.... while a bit large for stoarge, it sure looks nice.
  17. Well, I definetaly like the first one second than the latter. WTF is that? That's gotta be the sickest Devestator ever... but is it a statue or a figure? Actually, you know what it looks like? Resculpted 'combination parts' mounted on re-detailed versions of the actual Devestator toys...
  18. I don't mind the flames but I don't get the frosty windows...
  19. Holy Grail is a truly amazing movie, but I think I like Life of Brian better.... Meaning of life though, I really can't stand except for the child birth, organ donation, and fat man eating the 'wafer thin' after-dinner mint. Holy Grail and LoB are most certainly on my top ten movie list... I love everything Monty Python.
  20. We're getting more WST? Aww man, now I've gotta get wave two so I can have them all... Dinobots'll be awesome.
  21. Yeah, after the Honda Element, the Scion is probably the ugliest car I've ever seen... and why do you keep all your others in car mode? That defies half of the point of Transformers....
  22. Just got my Case of 4 from BBTS with Tracks, Prowl, Skids, and Sunstreaker. I opened the two new molds, Prowl and Skids. Prowl is kinda dissapointing... the whiteish grey plastic looks very toylike and crappy and transparent, and the leg posiblity is nill. Skids on the otherhand, is the best figure of the line so far, and maybe at all. Transformation is awesome and bot mode is fantastic. He's the most posable Alternator yet, has a really slick paint job, and alot of stuff is smaller and sleeker and more advanced roboty looking rather than big and chunky and wonky like some of the other ones (Prowl.) I must say I am toughroughly impressed with Skids and it is easily my new favorite Alternator. Grimlock can get some really dramatic poses and look sweet, but I think with a little effort Skids'l be able to blow him away.
  23. yeah, gotta admit, Pulp Fiction did leave me feeling rather underwhelmed... maybe I just don't "get" Tarantino, but I just sat thru the movie and couldn't begin to grasp any reason to watch the rest of it..... EDIT: And yeah, I too would rather watch most anything else that DYRL... except the fight scenes. I watch DYRL like an old Godzilla movie.... just fastforwding to the fight scenes and skip the plot... I think I'd actually rather watch Mac2 even...
  24. Gotta put another vote in for Blade Runner.... so much hype as a quintessential Sci-Fi movie, and yet, before halfway through I couldn't seem to justify to myself why exactly I was watching it... so dark and hard to see, so boring, such a crappy ending... and Harrison Ford was pretty sucky in it, and I usually love him. The special effects of the building and the vehicles was impressive though. And I'm not exactly sure how anyone could actually NOT like It's a Wonderful Life. Aside from presents this movie is the holiday season's only redeeming feature...
  25. Wow..I'm pretty annoyed. I was decalling my RX-79G and when I took the dry-transfer sheet off of the waxpaper sheet, like half of the decals were stuck to the wax paper, rendering most of the dry transfer sheet ruined. I hope it's not this bad on the second 79G, which I haven't opened yet. I'll get pics up of my 79G this week hopefully... it's another roughed up one but I tried to make it a bit more subtle and with more streaking and scorching... EDIT: And I managed to gum up the thumb ball joint on this one too.... how do you guys manage those could of pieces... I masked the joint for most of the painting and yet it's still somehow screwed up.
