    Have you looked in the toy thread at the newbie answers and fix my yamato stickied threads? I think alot of what you're look for is in those two, but the idea for a 1/48 care thread is sitll neat. I'll chime in a few things I know... For the reissues and such, cehck out Kensei's mini essay on it, which tells all. For the seams, some light sanding could do the trick. The tail fin's a toughie tho... for the best fix, you've have to repaint the section black and apply a new decal. For the hands, there are a few choices. Someone here (I forget who... might have been Rhoby, who disapeared) did recasts of the VF-1J TV hands. Neova in the For Sale section seems to be planning to do recasts of another really detailed set of DYRL style hands, and another posable hand I think. Eternal_D sculpted and cast copies of a set of gorgeous fixed pose DYRL hands, which I have and are great, but no longer in production. If you have more specific questions, I might be able to help, seeing as I've had at least 1 1/48 in pieces all over my work desk to customize, so I've got some experience fixing bits, but not too much. Hopefully some more knowledgable types will chime in here.

    So this is non-transformable? I like where it's going, but I've gotta echo that the legs and tail need serious work... the front end is looking nice, and I think it'll be alot better with the fixed nosecone. Intersting project overall.

    Did we really complain about Skids? I don't remember.... all I know is I <3 my Skids... practically the best bot sculpt of any figure ever.

    DA, the problem with his is that he's got the SFC Arms/ GFC skirt armor all messed up. That slims down the whole deal alot and looks much better. I'm not sure how he's got the shoulder bits mounted tho... that sight I posted has them mounted somewhere else too that I couldn't figure out. Rumble looks..... interesting. Maybe it's a good thing that I decided to stop buying Decepticons.

    I'd nail it with some panel lines, but i've gotta admit, I like the gunmetal look with the LV decals... I like it alot. And yeah, really nice job with the smooth finish... no issues here.

    Hmm...great, another game to get a PS2 for... it's on my to-do list, to say the least. So is that really the policy for pretty much all Bandai games? Maybe I should just suck it up and buy the Japan release of the PSP Gundam game too...

    Someday I'll go and get one, fix all the issues with it, and then add on the Ride Armor... so I can have a really posable rider, and a really posable armored fig.

    Hey all, I read thru that Manga today, Lost War Chronicles, and it was pretty badass. It uses the 08th MS Team mecha, and takes the role of a Spec Ops team assigned to do really offbeat and intense missions for the sake of testing equipment and collecting data. The captian of the squad is the first person to drive the RX-79[G] and fights the first Dom prototype in the 8th MS Team style GM. Rwally neat behind the scenes stuff, even if it isn't very original at this point.

    My most prized things... hmm... well, my computer, my 1/48 VF-1J with custom painted GBP armor, my MPC Convoy, my God Fire Convoy, my two YF-19s, my PG GB-01FB, and my new 1/12 Scopedog which I just got today. EDIT: And my G1 Metroplex with chrome thighs, rubber tires, almost all the parts, and no stickers applied... bnasically mint without box.

    While not an anime series, I picked up at Barnes and Noble this morning a new OYW side story Manga... Lost War or soemthing like that... it's basically another 08th MS Team, with those designs and stuff, so I was hooked without even opening it. I'll post up more info later.

    Lol, I'm kinda hoping so, and I've been debating it for a while now. Funny thing, I actually got my Super Fire Convoy and God Magnus out of storage the other day after having a huge itching to play wtih Super Fire Convoy. They, while I was looking at stuff online, I saw that a guy had figured out how to use all teh Super Fire Convoy armor parts on God Fire Convoy, so I did that and now I have huge friggen God Fire Confoy even bigger and meaner looking than eveyone else's on my shelves...

    Lol, I wasn't going off of CBT stats, I actually thought that they were rail rifles in the series... oh well. My bad then.

    Wait.... the main guns on the Monster are magnetic rail/gauss rifles, aren't they? If I'm not mistaken there shouldn't be any scorching on the barrels because there is no propellant combustion and minimal friction....
