For a game, the last one does look good, yes. But for a movie, I want something believable... I've been reading IM for years (and years!) and I know what he should look like.

Ugh, I really don't like those CGs.... I'm really kinmda sad to hear that they want to go an Adi Granov route too.... the current armor by him is nice, but I haven't really liked an armor since Joe Quesada's work in the beginning of the current series, most of which I can't stand anyways. I'm an old school IM fan through and through, and woulda really love to see some IM+WM era stuff like from Kevin Hopgood, or even the Heroes Reborn armor (my favorite armor of them all... I'm weird... Prometheum armor all the way!) I'd also love it if they used Ultimate style designs, as the mecha-ey detail and grounded utilitarian beleivability of the Ultimate armor make me a very happy fan.

I'm not sure if it's perfectly noticable during all of either animation, but in lineart and 'officla' drawings, the color is usally pretty consistent.

Oh god, you're right. A HCM pro Dendrobium would be awesome... good size to play with, and lots of awesome goodies like we've come to expect from the line. Maybe that's why they haven't gotten to 0083 yet, because there's working on a rediculously awesome Dendrobium.

I agree. Stardust Memories/Last Blitz of Zeon stuff is my true favorite... CCA is amazing, but 0083 is my favorite Gundam story ever. GP-o1FB for life.

Roy's 1S is a DYRL design, and much whiter like in the movie, whereas Hikaru's VF-1J is a TV Valk, and is the closer to the color used in teh TV animation. I have the same valks actually.

Fortunetaly I have a a huge stash of decals... including some generic Zeon ones which I can canabalize into the Neo Zeon stuff with some reference pics... I did something similar for my Gundam and am going to do it for my Nemo and Assh and Zaku when I get the chance. I knew that the Zabi didn't come with the decals, gay as that is. I'm not gonna ahve them for the Nu either once I get it, bc/ I'm not a huge fan of the ReGZ. On another note, since I'm a huge Sazabi fan and CCA fanboy, I have to ask, how are the EMSIA figures? I kinda really want the Zabi now that I see it.... and want to know how the joints and details and materials such are on the EMSIA.... I really don't like MSIA figures, because of all the floppy PVC and loose joints and lack of crisp edges and details, but how are the EMSIA ones? And posability? That could sell me over detail...

These are pretty awesome looking... might have to pick up one or two at some point.

I wasn't into Macross when the whole 1/72 fiasco happened, but once I got my M+ Vaks, I wanted a 19FP... and now that a larger more detailed, better proportioned, and better working one is coming out, I can't wait any longer... I'd bust a gut if I waited for a second run. To me, a perfect looking representation of my favorite transformable mecha EVER is well worth the 200 bucks, esp. made by Yamato, where I know that evne if there is a QC issue (which there shouldn't,) I can fix it. The VF-0 joints ARE fixable, the Tab B COULD be fixed with some effort, the floppy intake cover CAN be fixed, and BP-8 was fixable as well (even if it took a replacement part)... this'll be no different.

I waited on the VF-0, but I simply cannot wait on this one... mine's already pre-ordered. I'm relatively handy, so I should be able to fix any sort of issue that could arise, not that it even SHOULD be an issue at this price.

How is the posability on WWI Prime? I've got it an Jetfire on pre-order and can't wait to get them.

No, but he certainly /did/ read it. That's pretty much how I felt after finishing it too.... and the Transformers are still my favorite franchise ever.... just not this 'movie'...
