    I too caved. That fighter mode just looks so cool. It gives me some incentive to clean up the nitro 1/8th buggy and sell it so I can make the cash back. And yes, SAL for the win

    I like this comment. My collection (mainly TFs but Macross is slowly growing) sits right inside the front door in a few glass/timber display cabinets. The funny thing is that in the last week I've had 4 tradies in to do various things and not one has noticed what is actually in those cabinets. When I greet them they are to busy listening to me talk about the reason they were called and they have been working down the other end of the house. When they leave they are usually busy carrying oh their stuff so don't notice either. I have a dishwasher repairer coming round today and the kitchen looks out over the lounge rom so I'll see if he notices Although I did have a landscaper come to do a quote a few months ago and as there is no rear access to my courtyard he had to walk the ought the house and he noticed. He looked and went "Cool! Transformers! I remember that cartoon!" And proceeded to start singing the theme song and dancing on the spot while having a look at my collection. The funny thing is his little performance lasted for at least a minute. He was a strange guy.

    Cool. I'll be in. I just designed my own and it is currently being built in Shapeways but man it ain't cheap! I did it more to teach myself a little 3D design then anything else so am willing to chalk the cost up to experience. But I definitely won't be printing any more.

    That wasn't a Takara reissue, it was Hasbro Asia. They are actually being quite clever by looking at what is selling for big aftermarket prices and reissuing them at a higher than original retail but lower than aftermarket prices. Well done Hasbro, well done.

    Yeah I've bought from Captured Prey as 'twas a very positive experience. I would continue to do so except I'm in Australia, so postage ain't fun.

    Looks good. I'm all in for FansToys because of the cartoon accuracy but GPs Slag is impressive. However, this is just line art. Much can change between paper and release.

    That part is hidden in bot mode. If you look at the top of the front wheel wells and see the thin silver stripe, that is where the torso stripe is in truck mode.Hope that made sense

    Of the ones off that list that I have, only Rhinox has a problem. Skids and Whirl are issue free, no loose joints at all. Once you swap Skids hip joints around he's a brilliant little toy ^This

    Hey wow! That is cool. Fighter mode looks good but that's it for me with this. Gerwalk is ok and I'm not a fan of battroid.

    Just transformed mine. Wow. That is the least fun thing to transform that I own. And I have Binaltech Grimlock . Ankles are loose. So loose that i dont trust it to stand up unassisted. Good thing is you can get to them really easily it seems. So what's the recommendation for die cast? Clear nail polish or something else? FAST pack leg bits don't even stay on on mine. The tabs don't grip at all they just fall off I'll have to try to build them up with something. And also I can't for the life of me get the uniboob to go back into the chest all the way so the panel under it can plug in. I know I'm doing something wrong but I'm too scared to push harder on stuff in case something snaps. Apart from that I didn't scratch anything. As long as you take your time and be careful it's not a problem. And it looks FANTASTIC in battroid mode. Sooooooo cool. For me the positives outweigh the negatives by a lot so I'm a very happy camper. I'll have to take some decent photos and post them up. All I need now is a stand and a fold booster..

    Yeah I figured the heavier things went closer to the fuselage. I threw a few missiles on just after I took those photos and the setup doesn't look right, hence the question. But I'm a bit surprised that you say asymmetry being ok. I figured that you'd want to keep it as symmetrical as possible to avoid having more drag on one side than the other.

    Just got this in the mail. And as my first experience of a 19, I am impressed so far. Will try Gerwalk and Battroid modes later. Although, I have found it a bit difficult to get Isamu into the cockpit properly. He doesn't want to sit low enough. I had to spread his legs with a screwdriver (ahem) to get him to sit flat on the seat. Question to those in the know: Is there a correct/incorrect way to go about missile loadouts/configurations? I have no idea whether there is a standard for what goes where and what can go with what. Or doesn't it matter at all?

    I'd definitely buy it if they reissued. I'd prefer a FB2012 but any version would be an insta-buy.
