  1. Yes. But considering it was such a widespread and well known issue, it was a reasonable expectation that they do something about it. Needless to say disappointment ensued.
  2. There you go! Send some YetiStand love down under
  3. Damn. C'mon, you know you want to send a batch to Australia!
  4. But they won't. Because Bandai.
  5. Nice. I will be ordering at least 6. I have a suggestion - I would use nylon nuts on the hinges/elbows. It will enable the stand's pose to be manipulated without requiring the nuts to be tightened all the time.
  6. That looks great! Hurry up and take my money already!
  7. Since they backed it HG are probably now gonna claim sole ownership and distribution rights for every potato salad outside of Ohio. Prepare for many a family lunches worldwide to start receiving Cease and Desist letters. It was Carl's dream after all.
  8. Sorry to see it's over. I would have liked to see it funded purely for the comedy/incompetence that would ensue. I just had a read of the most recent page on RT and counted 3 posts calling for the Academy idea to be scrapped for what the fans really want: Rick Hunter! (Shock!) Also more calls for Shadow Rising to be abandoned and left where it belongs. Good to see the Robotech future as bright as ever.
  9. Yes. Grew up watching original airing of US cartoon. Am I being criticised for not being close-minded enough on the subject of G1 What I'm describing isn't a radical concept. If all you want to accept in your G1 continuity is the US cartoon, that's ok. We have to reconcile it somehow. But saying that the Japanese continuity isn't G1 is wrong. It's just a different version of G1
  10. G1, when referred to in the sense being needlessly discussed here, is a period more so than a continuity. It encases both the American show/comics, the Japanese shows and the UK comics. If you choose to subscribe to the idea that your particular G1 continuity ended with Rebirth, then that's fine. But, by definition as a period, G1 Includes everything, including the Japanese cartoons up until G2 started in 1993. But as a continuity, US G1 ended at Rebirth, but also incorporates Beast Wars and (unfortunately) Beast Machines.
  11. That Laserbeak/Buzzsaw mould is one of the major highlights of the MP line. Pure genius.
  12. They're folded on the inside of the legs
  13. To take the money and run. But we know you won't do that to us
  14. I skipped thought the video, watched a total of about 8 minutes all up. Apparently HG's failure to launch a successful series since the original and send companies bankrupt while doing so is just "terrible luck". Harmony Gold are trying. They really are and it's people like YOU lot that are the reason that a great idea, produced by the fantastic company HG, led by the infallible Tommy Yune, will not succeed. You damn Internet trolls! Because let's face it, it's a good thing the fans loved the Transformers LAMs and Michael Bay. Because without the blind, unwavering support of the fandom, not even a Kickstarter would have got those cinematic masterpieces Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon made! But seriously, to live in conditions like that he obviously has a problem. Combined with the fact that he made a 48 minute video which is basically a fan-rage without the yelling, makes me feel sorry for him.
  15. Those stands are so ugly. They actually detract from the overall aesthetic because you have this sleek Valk sitting atop a slab of utilitarian plastic. They should come up with something better. Pass
  16. Yeah it wouldn't fit my flash. While it is a cool idea, I'd want to see reviews first.
  17. I understand your hesitation dude, but you have to remember at a guy whose KS was to make a potato salad had thousands of dollars pledged. But whatever you do I'll buy some. I'm in need of some stands and everything you've shown us so far looks great.
  18. I want that black/purple scheme. But we'll probably get an Ozma.
  19. Yeah, they tried that with Transformers, the Titanium line. It wasn't good.
  20. Group photo with 1 second of screen time. KS obligation fulfilled.
