Looks good. I've never gotten around to reading the books, but the movies have been pretty good so far, so i'm hoping the last one hits the mark as well.

http://tfu.info/1985/Decepticon/Dirge/dirge.htm I should have done some research before putting up my initial post. You’re right, his color is much more in-line with that of his G1 Toy Counterpart. I was basing my assumption off of his Animated form. And you know what they say about assumptions. Still I’m afraid you’re going to be right about Classics Thundercracker. I’m hoping someway some how E-Hobby decides to do some kind of exclusive repaint on the Classics seekers some where down the line. It’ll still be more expensive than the standard fare, but I can’t imagine it will be anywhere near the price of these money-pits.

Well that puts me alot more at ease about not being able to pick this set up. Come to think of it doesn't it look like Dirge's color is alot lighter than his G1 counterpart? Hell he looks more like G1 Thundercracker in those colors.

Great news indeed on MP Skywarp... I just hope we don't have to wait a year+ for the inevitable Thundercracker MP.

This might help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_66

Good question. I'm sure if there is more information about it someone on the board could probably point you in the right direction. I've never had the chance to play republic commando, but didn't it almost seem like in the movie the execution of order 66 went a little too smoothly, like they knew it all along in there as well?

Yikes, i'm really not digging the new logo. I hope the series is more promising than that logo is leading me to believe.
-
Yeah they were really pushing that as an issue in their survey. Even had a question asking to justify your decision about whether or not AFA grading was important in deciding to purchase a figure. Personally i could care less about AFA grading. It seems like a pretty random practice to me, but than again i open most of what i collect so i'm sure there are some ppl. that had more to comment on it than i did.

Thread Resurrection. Anyone have any ideas as to when the second installement will be released state-side? Seems sorely overdue.
-
Noice. I'd def. pick at least one up. Looking forward to it.
-
Yes sir, same here. That and they continue the alternators line past Ravage and Rumble.
-
I had to go with trusty old Obi-Wan (Alec Guiness), he really personified the first movie for me and to an extent the whole series.
-
Can't confirm anything, but there better be with how many holes they left at the end of Second Raid.
-
Heh, if that's what they really turn out looking like i don't think i'll be so disappointed.

EXCLUSIVES!? Sh*t! Man that pisses me off. Had an ominous feeling this was going to happen. They just had to go reserve the rest of the seekers for botcon exclusives. 90% of the ppl. who picked up Starscream, Ramjet and Skywarp are going to have no chance of obtaining these guys. ($279, whoops that's the members price) $329 for 5 toys (even better), come on now. Sad thing is that's the bare minimum package too! Not to mention it's the same damn price even if you don't attend... noice. None of the previous botcon exclusives have impressed me that's why i was hoping for more of the same this year, perhaps some more cybertron remolds, but anything but this.

Thanks for the review. One question i've been meaning to have answered though, do you think he'll hold up on his own in a pretty standard pose without eventually falling over if not supported by a stand?
-
Not into minicons! I have to admit most of them aren't really anything to write home to mom about, but i've made it a goal to collect all of the star saber/energon saber variations they've released. The only one i'm missing is the recolored energon saber (blizzard saber) that was only released in japan as part of a minicon trading set. Those might make you change your mind.

As a kid i was just totally shocked to see those guys buy it, no one ever dies in cartoons right? After watching it again as an adult though, i was like WTF! Out of all the Autobots, i can't think of two that kicked more Decepticon butt on a consitent basis (when they were actually scripted in that episdoe that is) than Brawn and Ironhide, i thought it was a total crock they would get wasted so easily. Granted most of the reasons in killing off the Transformers that they did in the movie was commercial it was just hard to believe such veterans would get off'd so quickly and effortlessly.

Thanks for the pics. Can't say i'm really 100% behind those paint schemes, but i have to give em credit for doing such a clean job on them. Side note: can't believe you changed your avatar man! Can't complain about the new one though.

Battlestar Galactica Discussion

Wow. Simply awesome. Good way to end the season. It started detriorating for me in the middle of the season but the last few episodes have done a good job of keeping me faithful. Looking forward to the movie in the meantime. -
Ace Combat 6:Skies of Liberation for XBOX360!
Veritas replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Those screens look aboslurmely amazing. One of the few consitent series that are on today's consoles. I'm def. going to have to plop down some cash for a 360 now. -
Display Your Collections...

Sheesh Emerson if i didn't know any better i'd say you owned just about one of every robot ever portrayed in animation. That is one crazy collection. Nioce. -
What's that one slated to become?
-
Yeah in all seriousness, if anyone was thinking about making some of these they better save the instructions on their hard drive, because this website is next in line for eradication. Other than that, that is pretty clever idea. Lucas should think about giving him some kind of position after he threatens him with legal action that is.

Nice, Real Noice! I'm suprised how much it looks like a legitmate release from Yamato. Great work man.
