Yeah actually the one up for auction was his first prototype if i read correctly. It retains more pieces from the original Alt/BT Skids figures. It's still a great custom nonetheless though. I like how seamless the alt mode is.

You know i just realized what with the old thread being down, i didnt bookmark all of THS-02 picture/review sites. Anybody happen to still have them? I'm missing the one that was like 2 pags long if that helps. I just wanna get some ideas of what he's capable of pose and articulation wise.

You might want to give fantofan.jp a shot too. Ryan the guy that runs that site is a top notch guy and he's always honest about how much something will cost to ship and how long. The only thing wrong with his site is he's been cutting down on what he's been offering on the site as of late. Maybe it's just a shortage of releases, but he used to have alot more TF related preorders than he does now.

Yeah the Japanese Galaxy Convoy is better as well. I have both versions and although it's mostly paint apps. (i never fool with the electronics on these guys), same story as Vector Prime, just better use of colors and more of it. Nothing that would stop me from buying Cybertron OP if that's all i could get my hands at a reasonable price, but if at all possible i'd stick with the Galaxy Force releases. I think out of all of them that have been released so far, only Cybertron Megatron (Darker Colors) and Cybertron Galvatron (Better Color Usage) seem to be superior to their Galaxy Force counterparts.

GF Vector Prime is exactly the same size as the Cybertron release. I can't say about the electronics, but the GF version is superior simply because of the better paint apps. and color choices they used on him. Pretty much all of the Japanese releases are superior to their domestic counterparts based on the paint apps. alone. I did hear however that the Cybertron Vector Prime's Sword is made of stronger material, but i can't verify that since i don't have the GF version. Anyways even if that's the case you picked the better of the two releases, i don't think you'll be disappointed.

I've been meaning to ask somebody about this and i guess this is just about a good as place as any, is this game playable if you can't read/understand Japanese? The menus in the Japanese Front Mission games for example are all spelled out in English, but the storyline is Japanese Text. Although you miss the storyline if you can't read Japanese, at least the game is playable. Is this game anything like that? I've been meaning to take a look at this... that is if i can get past the main menu. My Japanese comprehension aint what it used to be.

Looking good ... other than that Yamato sticker that is, j/k. Sad thing is most of my valks are draped in the standard yamato stickers themselves.

Kiss Convoy w/ Melissa? (BTA-04?) & Transformers Atari? (Beats me? ) No news yet on either release.

That's a great price. I had to pay 125 for my first MP Convoy, so 99 is a steal IMO.

I really hope as a result of this Sony will start to invest more money in developing and getting other developers for that matter to make better and simply more games for the system. The PSP is first and foremost a portable gaming console and they really need to stop trying to do everything with it and just stick with making games.

The BT version(s) have been postponed... if not altogether canceled. There's been no news on them for about a month or two now. I don't think the BT/BTA line is totally canceled or anything, but more like takara/tomy is reworking their business strategy after their recent merger, but if we do see him it might be a while yet before he's released.

*Shudder* Everytime i see pics of this monster i recoil in disbelief. I can't believe how ugly he is. Plain and simple this figure doesn't do Prime justice, hell it wouldn't do any character justice he's just got way too much kibble and he just looks like he could have used a lot more work (better transformation, more thought out articulation possibilities etc.). I'm sorry but i'm sticking with MP/20th Ann. Prime. The tell tale sign for me is the fact that gallery is by Remy and his galleries have turned me from downright hating a figure to going out a buying them the next day on more than one occasion, but this time... i'm sticking by intial opinion. Alt. Prime was better left as a crazy idea than a real figure.

Yeah the Hybrid prime is a neat little toy and i can't wait to display him on my desk, his poseability and articulation is amazing, not to mention the fact that he was designed by Mr. Kawamori... but the MP Prime is in a league of it's own. Simply the greatest transformer ever made IMO. What better toy to be a centerpiece in your collection than the 12" diecast built and superbly detailed monster that is MP/20th Annv. Prime. Both are great buys, but MP Prime is superior if you don't already own him.

Yeah i made the mistake of buying the cybertron version thinking it was one of the only figures that was pretty much the same as the GF release. Boy was i wrong after i took a at gander at these pics: http://tfkenkon.com/collection/act294/ He doesn't have pictures of the american release granted, but you can find those anywhere and when you do, you'll see the differences.

I'm guessing just on pure speculation with what the market is like here (ebay etc.) that the max would probably be a little easier to find, simply based on the fact that the low viz was a limited edition release and it's commanding a huge price nowadays. I don't think you'll be finding one at the price it was released at i could be wrong though. Both are just about the hardest to come by valks since they've only each been released once.

Boy that would be anti climatic to say the least... heh who would be left to stop the Snakes on the Plane!

24, going on 25! Soon i'll finally be able to rent a car without the help of another adult... but then it's all down hill from there.
