I've thought about it many a times myself, but of all the reasons, there's only one that always ends up stopping me. I just really don't trust the ppl. in my office. Not neccessarily to steal my stuff, but to break it when i'm not around and act like nothing happened afterward.

That repaint is horrid. We were discussing it a little while back. The least they could have done is try and remold a new head like they did for Swerve. Right now i can honestly say i'm only really looking forward to Alt. Mirage. in the Alternators line. Unless this Alt. Megatron becomes a reality. -

As far as i know no it hasn't been posted yet, doc. I caught that a little earlier too, and i was thinking about whether or not to post it. On the TFW2005 article it says that this is supposdely a 1/24 scale mock up of a Megatron Alternator. I don't see where they're getting this 1/24 scale information from, because it's not on the concept art. Also if this really is going to be a 1/24 scale Abrams this toy is going to be huge! Just for a comparison, here's the specs on how big a RC 1/24 Abrams is: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti00...&I=LXLSV6**&P=M (Scroll down to the bottom) Don't get me wrong i hope it sees the light of day, cause i would love them to give Megatron the Alt. Treatment, but i really don't know if this information is all that accurate. -

Just for that I hope he doesn’t even transform. I hope he shows up and gets ripped a new one while he’s still in alt. mode. It was in their contract with the prop designer. They have to use the tank in at least one half-decent movie. 404315 Please don't tell me this movie is actually being made. -

Why the hell does that police car have the Decipticon symbol pasted on it's sides? I thought these were supposed to be robots in disguise... -
I'm assuming they are by the shadows that both of them cast, or lack there of. I could be wrong though.
-
Not a problem mate. You know i'm not a real expert on either of those paint schemes, but i'm pretty sure they both originated as model kits and they never made an apperance in any of the official series. I could be wrong though, i've only seen the Original tv series (long time ago), DYRL, Plus and Zero... so don't quote me on that heh.

Haha, good stuff. Thanks for the laughs. How ironic his fradualent ebay sale came back to bite him in the ass. I can only imagine what he was thinking when he first got wind of this. -
Nice nothing like some JM's to lighten the mode. Nice and clean too. I always wondered why they didn't steal this design for the JM rip off morphers they released all those years ago with the release of the Robotech DVDs. Those morphers were actually a step backward in toy design. Had they looked like this they would have flown off the shelves. I don't know how many places i saw those in the bargain bins only a couple of months after their release... whew sorry ranting.

A) Quick Pics and Links. There's alot of Minmay Guard Customs under the 1/48 Customs tab, in the Toys section on the front page. But here's some quick pics anyways : Paris Act Minmay Guard by Jung: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/m...toms/jmg-10.jpg Paris Act Minmay Guard by Anasazi37: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/m...anothermg-7.jpg Paris Act Minmay Guard by Kurt: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/m...oms/pamg-15.jpg Moon Act Minmay Guard by Kurt: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/m...rtminmoon-5.jpg B) Couldn't find too many Angel Birds customs, but Anasazi posted one up under the 1/60 customs: Angel Birds by Anasazi37: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/mw-customs/ab-2.jpg Hope that helps. When you get a chance swing by the Customs section to get a better idea of these color schemes and to admire everyone's else hard work.

I read at one of the E-tailers, that the first three american releases (exactly the same as the Japanese ones, just being distributed by a different company here) were dropping starting tommorow. Let's hope so.
-
Don't think they've released pics of the Blue 00 as of yet, but it's been announced if IIRC. As for the 02: http://www.atamaii.com/evangelion-010561.html There's a couple more pictures of it floating around, including one holding the lance, but you get the idea.

You know what might be worth another look for Yamato is perhaps releasing a VF-1 in colors similiar to the Meteor Busters limited edition. I'd def. buy two or three of those beauties.

Haha, good to hear. You must have felt like the coolest kid in school when you walked into the playground that day with those Gundam figures and Valk that you knew no one who'd been out of the country had ever laid their eyes on. You should have traded them for like 5 Guts each, could have had an army in no time! Yeah Megaforce, was just such a great line, i really wish they had been able to pull together just one more series. The small sets had some of the best value in the amount of detail and paint that came at such a low cost. The large vehicles are even better with the amount of detail and playability they were able to cram into them. If you didn't have any of the larger ones or just medium sized ones i suggest taking the plunge and maybe picking up a Tar-Trax or a Thunderwolf, and maybe if you're really crazy about it, a Thorhammer... or a Goliath!

KingNor, There's actually an ongoing thread about this right here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18306 It got kicked back to the fourth page already! Man this subforum has too many topics heh. Also according to early reports they're also releasing King Gainer, EVA 00 (Blue), EVA 02 and the Ingram from Patalabor, as well as what you posted up. Finally there's an exclusive clear yellow EVA 00 that was just released with the Japanese hobby mag. Figure Oh! #100. It doesn't come with any accessories i don't think, but since it's clear, the joint system is easily visible, making it a very sought after piece. http://fantofan.jp/news/mag/figureking/fk100-9.jpg

I thought it was being released the same time as the Valk, but no pics as of yet... hmmm...
-
Every single one of those models looks like top notch work, brush work or airbrush! Nice job.
-
Here's the original home page that DyNo got the pictures: http://www.moeyo.com/
-
Yeah. that's why i'm not 100% certain, but there's other stuff in the picture in Japanese as well. I'm assuming that if this were a Japan town in MD the prices would most likely be in Dollars though.
-
I'm pretty sure that's a picture from a toy store in Japan somewhere because the price tag is in yen in the first picture. Could be mistaken though.
-
If by "a little light on the paint apps" you mean "completely devoid of paint", you do recall correctly. 403258 Hmm, really? I thought they had painted faces and hands at least? I mean a light spackle of tan on the face and hands, nothing detailed. I must be mistaking them with maybe some of my G.U.T.S. figures that i had... hmm but those were bigger i think... GUTS!
-
Not a problem Wolf. I know where you're coming from about not finding info on it. I must have tried every name under the sun but Xpanders. Expanders, Expandables, Expands, you name it i probably tried it. I thought it was a pretty neat toy line too, but like the link points out it never caught on and died after only the intial six releases. Speaking of which i don't think i eve saw the figures packed individually. The ones that were packed in pretty detailed alright, but a little light on the paint apps if i recall. Would have been nice to have figures painted like the ones that were released in G.U.T.S.! Anyone remember that line? Those were probably two of the cooler vehicles in the line. Not so sure about the base modes though. Probably the Tank had the best vehicle/base combination from what i can see from the pictures. I think i only saw these toys on the shelves in one or two trips to my local TRU before they disappeared completely.

Kyatsu, no they don't ship out of the cont. U.S. for whatever reason. There's some freight forwarding companies that i work with that i can pay to have Ikea deliver the stuff to their designated locations and take care of the rest in shipping it from the West Coast to Hawaii, but i don't want to go down that route just yet. I really apperciate the offer though. Maybe Ikea will take the plunge into the Hawaii market before long. Here's hoping i have enough room for the cases when they do.
-
Nope no Ikeas here mate. I think they'd do well to plant one here, but it looks like they haven't caught on. I think other than Ikea the only other thing we're missing that's common in most parts of the mainland are Targets. As for the selection of furniture stores we have we've got Ashley furniture outlets, Large all in one furniture stores called Homeworlds, and numerous Scandanavian furniture stores in the vein of Ikea but usually priced two to three times more than them.
