  1. You’re right. The new Alternator Cadillac is actually Rumble. Edited my original post.
  2. TFW has pictures up of the new Alternators Jaguar robot mode: Alt. Ravage Prototype Ravage it is. I gotta say i'm really happy that they're continuing with new alternator molds (instead of only repaints) but compared to Mirage this is a step backwards IMO. I'm sure it's mistransformed, but i'm still not digging it. Maybe when completed pictures surface with a proper transformation, but i can't say for sure.
  3. Whoops, forgot about the headlights facing away from the body. But i have the arms disconnected from the body to show what i was talking about in terms of the limitation on poseability.
  4. Real quick pic of my WW Prime.
  5. Considering he's a die-cast toy and the price range and that he's transformable i'd say not too bad. His head and upper torso can basically move anywhere (although for the torso i wouldn't recommend it considering the bottom half is supposed to line up with the top). His arms and legs are kind of a let down though considering that they can only move in a limited number of directions. His legs can move in a complete circle, but the bottom half of the legs connected from the knee joint down can only move backwards and forwards. While the arms run into problems from the elbow up. The forearm connected from the elbow down can move anywhere in 360 degrees, but this ability is restrained by the fact that the top arm half (shoulder) has to disconnect from the body past a certain degree. If you're trying to pose his arm past this degree it just doesn't look right seeing his shoulder disconnected from too far. Once again it comes down to how far the torso can go before looking out of place though so all in all, you can create some great stand up action poses, but nothing too complicated beyond that.
  6. Ratcheting Joints ala Revoltech? If so that would be a huge improvement and i hope it's true.
  7. Transformable or not, that is one hell of a bang up job you did! The detail on it is pretty meticulous and it makes all the better seeing that you fit it to scale for the 3 3/4" figures. Great Job man. You should hang it front of your front door so as soon as someone walks in, there in it's sights.
  8. I picked up the Titanium WW Prime almost immediately after release, but i just can't force myself to pick up the Megs. He doesn't look too bad, but he could have been better in relation to how well prime came out. What really got me though was the fact that he doesn't look all that poseable (WW Prime isn't a shining example of poseability either, but it works), i guess his poseability comes from a lack of stability in robot mode.
  9. You can follow this link to pics. of an unpainted prototype. Classics Ramjet Prototype w/ Starscream and Jetfire Protos i could have swore there were pics of him painted floating around as well but i'll have to do some backtracking on the TF news sites.
  10. I visit Dannychoo about every other day, great site and although i know he regurally visits the otaku conventions and shows, i guess i never got a first hand account of what it was like just waiting in line for one to start.
  11. Wowza! I knew these events were a big deal, but i had no idea they were this crazy. I can't even imagine what it's like having to walk 15 mins. to queue at the end of a line!
  12. And this: Classics Ramjet Prototype w/ Starscream and Jetfire Protos I'm really looking forward to this line. The movie might look horrible, but at least there's some light at the end of the tunnel.
  13. From what i've been reading from interviews and such i think that will unfortanetly be his final form in the movie. Speaking of which have you seen this? Peek-a-Boo!
  14. You're probably right i could barely stomach the show when they were re-running it a while back on cartoon network and i was already 18+, but still at least it wasn't nearly as bad as what they have planned for the show now, if this is true.
  15. That box is pretty hideous. *shudder*
  16. You are correct sir. Ever since i saw the first pictures i've been muttering the same thing. Not only would have it looked better and for that matter much more realistic, i'm sure it would have saved alot of time and money since the basis for just about all the designs has already been thought out and proven by the figures. They wouldn't even to come up with new transformation schemes. Sad, sad, sad. You can put this right up there with what they did to Godzilla.
  17. Seeing as i dont know where/what he's from this is only opinion, but that is one whack figure. I don't have any problems passing on this one.
  18. Oh Gosh, i hope beyond hope that most of that is just speculative rumor.
  19. Since when did S2000s have triple headlights? That's just some fictional car design. WTF. So now Megatron is a child molestor? Look at his tongue in that comic! Looks like they are really playing up the whole "transmolestor" advertisting thing. Veiny tongues today, slimy white spurting tentacles of Cybertron tomorrow. 427125[/snapback] Since when did fictional comics have to be 100% accurate? Maybe they haven’t licensed the S2000 from Honda for use in the comic, I don’t know. The triple headlights might be pure fiction but his robot mode is heavily based on this: http://tfkenkon.com/collection/act335/ http://www.bwtf.com/alternators/decepticharge/ Both S2000s, and both with nearly the same overall body as the “Megatron†pictured in that preview. It looks like the artist might have taken some liberties, but that is essentially the same robot as the Alternators/Binaltechs pictured above. As for the rest of the preview, it’s a sad day IMO when the Transformers have come to this. I’m looking forward to Hot Rod as a Ford GT, but that’s about it. I’ll buy whatever I have to, to get my hands on that, but this line is really testing my faith in Takara and the direction they’re taking.
  20. Found this up on TFANS, there's a KISS Play comic preview featuring what seems to be Megatron as an S2000... that's about the only thing worth reporting on though... let's just say I'm really not digging the path Takara is continually taking the Transformers down on their end. http://www.mediaworks.co.jp/special/daioh/...p/pickup03.html
  21. Thanks for the clarification WolfX, I had a feeling those figures were specifically created for the Revoltech line. Couldn’t be 100% sure though with all of the new Animes being released in the last few years. Just can't keep up.
  22. Check out what's on the horizon! Prime, EVA 04, Remy & Super Robos! There'll be alot of choices now that this line is going into full swing. One thing though, i recognize just about all the figures except the ones shown in the last 3 or so pictures. They look like armored suits, but i have no idea what they're from. Anyone got any ideas?
  23. Yeah that's about the best way to put it alright. Lego must be happy heh.
  24. If that’s true, that looks absolutely hideous. I had more than my doubts about the direction of this movie, but that’s the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. That no where near resembles any “Transformer†I have seen. It only can be considered a Transformer because of it’s ability to be a vehicle and… and an erector set monstrosity. For the life of me I’ll never understand why they didn’t take Binaltech/Alternators into consideration when designing the robot bodies for use in the movie. Hell they could have saved themselves tons of trouble by just using the respective Alternator counterparts as a basis from which to build the movie robots from. At least for the Autobots, you’ve already got Prime and Jazz. Ratchet and Ironhide wouldn’t be that hard to do from either the Dodge Ram bodies or the Scions and as for Bumblebee: http://tfkenkon.com/g/?mode=view&album=BTC...e=1000&start=25 I want to like this movie because it’s Transformers, but there’s no way I can myself paying to support this movie in anyway. Free Screening, sure I’ll go, but otherwise, I’ll wait til it hits TNT.
  25. Wow, i really don't know how to put in context how over the top that trailer was. Def. a WWE film and def. a must see! I'm seeing a Two Thumbs Up Recommendation for this one... haha...
