I've played altogther around 6 or so hours over the weekend and although it's taken me a little getting used to (i'm more inclined towards fast paced fpses like Quake and UT) i'm starting to enjoy it. I've run into a number of problems as well and i'm afraid with what i've heard of EA's track record on BF2 these problems will be long in getting fixed or will never get fixed, but here's hoping they get ironed out quickly if anyone's planning to pick it up at Launch. Lag seems to be really hit or miss for me, some servers i get amazing ping, but other servers where the ping should be just as good or better runs like molasses in January. I ran into a similar problem with binding keys, for the life of me my vehicle chase button kept unbinding itself, so i found if you bind something when you're in game you have to disconnect and then reconnect before it will take effect. At least that worked for me. Everytime i would esc. out and rebind it, the button never stuck. I tried to disconnect altogether and try again and that finally seemed to do it. It would probably work just as well if you did it right from the start before you joined any new games. I hope that helps.

Not that I don’t believe you, just sometimes your info comes out of left field. Most of the time i know where you get your news from and although I remember seeing the Smokescreen colorguides as well as that of the Classics Grimlock and Abrams Megatron, I don’t remember reading anything about the colorist (in the forums or on the newssites that i visit at least) releasing the Megatron colorguide in a bid to find the leak. Not that it really matters either way though. In the end, I’m still hoping that the Abrams Megatron or something similar will see the light of day. I never said it had to be in the classics lineup. Maybe one day, when they run out of wonky ideas like *cough Movie Designs cough* , they’ll consider it a viable option. Who knows maybe Takara will consider him for the Masterpiece treatment… even though I seriously doubt it, can always dream though.

I'm not suprised. For a work in progress it looks pretty good so far. Only difference i'd make is to change the metallic paint into something more subdued. Other than that, major props to TFmaster. He made an amazing Alternator Menasor Custom not too long ago that had to be seen to be believed. I'll have to try and upload pictures when i can find them again. Thanks for the pic.

Looks good to me. I agree on the Deactive look too, it looks pretty spot on. The PG Strike is such a great kit and i think you did a damn good job of turning into something unique.

Sorry Wolf i guess i never went into detail on the Chaotic Century series. I've never seen the original Zoids series from way back in the 80s, but Chaotic Century involves a war between two factions (Empire and Republic) on the same planet. Both of them have their own unique Zoids models and you'll see alot of different models showcased throughout the series.

Well as far as i know there's been 3, maybe 4 zoids anime series released in the last couple of years. The first one over here at least is called Chaotic Century and IMO is actually pretty good... considering it's geared more towards older kids. Head Ter Ter brought up a point about how irritating it was to have all of the fights or nearly all of them end the same way with power ranger like power up melee attacks after a long and drawn out battle. If you can get past that there's actually a pretty good story in there. As for the series afterwards "little kids piloting animal mechs in a tournament" is a good way to put it and i pretty much hated it. IMO it basically took away all of the things that made the first one good and left us with only pretty much the battles to fall back on. It just doesn't stand up. Since then i think there's been 1 or 2 more anime series and as far as i know i don't think those have been released domestically. Hope that helps.

The 6" Titanium Thundercracker is "War Within" Thundercracker from the Dreamwave Comic of the same name. It was an original design that Don Figureoa made up for the comic, much like War Within Prime from the first Titanium series. I see where you're coming from on Astrotrain. The train parts hanging off of him in shuttle mode and to a lesser extent in train mode def. take away from him. Overall i still think they did a pretty bang up job considering how good he looks in robot mode and that he's pretty poseable as well. Of all the ones that have been confirmed so far, Megatron (Gun) is def. my least fav. The Megatron (Tank) that comes in the 2 pack with another Prime mold is much better. Granted the tank is more a homage to his G2 counterpart than his G1 self, i just can't get past how much he looks like a green and orange Guncon. Other than that i think i'll be picking them all up.

Never owned any of them as a kid... heck i didnt even know they really existed, but when they made a comeback recently i found myself picking some kits up. Pretty well detailed for the price and i have to admit outside of the toys/models, i'm actually a fan of the Chaotic Century Cartoon Series. The series after i can do with out. Haven't seen anything since though, nor have i seen too many zoids, except in import stores and online.

I think i can see where you're coming from. He defintely resembles the Dreamwave Comic (Pat Lee) version more than he does his G1 design. It does take a little getting used to. I guess Kaiyodo decided on something different for Prime, compared with the pretty faithful representations they did with all the other characters released so far. Just as long as he can pull off some dynamic poses and comes with some good accessories i think i'll be more than content.

I gotta say it defintely came out alot darker than i thought it would, but i think it makes a pretty good contrast to the original. It's too bad it only goes really well with the Low Viz 2, meaning you'll have to be spending 250+ to get the right look.

Some of them do look pretty nice, but i just can't be certain about the quality. I've never seen them in stores. But i guess if you're only going to be posing them, as long as have stable joints, i guess quality won't be much of an issue.

Yeah the difference in valks used is because the pictures are from the different store displays. I don't which display is from where though.

Ahh damn, i guess i haven't been keeping up with the new Alternators vehicles modes at all. Where in the world did you hear that the Cadillac was going to be Megatron though?
