I found this show rather cool and a nice change after Z: it's almost a self-parody with some hilarious moments But also a strong story with some very sad and strong passages here and there: it's really worth to be seen in its entirety IMO, despite the opinions of some who may have underrated it...

No sound for me either... This thing reminds me of a robot toy I had when I was kid: it had some little wheels under the feet to allow them slide onto the floor in giving the illusion of a proper walk... It moved forward like this 'vehicle' in the clip but it was just a toy and this one is nothing more except bigger IMO

Actually, I prefer M7 to M+ by far: this last one has much simpler story and thoughts than the other IMO But whatever... I voted 'neither' but I'm not a Macross whore and I will not buy anything Macross, I just think Ishtar's hot and Gubaba ownz!

God, I spent hundreds of hours of my life playing this game and I can say it's the complete and absolute sucker, even when you do your best trying to custom the rules and skills as well as mechs specs to get something more or less related to the original show, wether it is mecha combat or the whole 'universe' (but it's true that this last one's particularly messy anyway...) If you want a good mecha-based RPG, go for Mekton (dunno what release they're at for now, I ceased to play RPG a while back...) and reproduce what you need from this awesome building system by Talsorian Games, it'll be easier, quicker and more accurate in being more faithfull in the same time
