    have you ever read the Powers comic book series? The first TPB is called "who killed retro girl?" The premise of the story is the death of a famous super hero under dubious circumstances. when cornered, the killer says that he did it so that the world would always remember her as being great, not mediocre. Your statement reminded me of that. But i think its better to have at least the main story closed out before it fades. Firefly rules. so does Serenity. I want some mo'.

    The Fourth Rail's review of RT: SC#1 Heres a review for y'all on that comic. I am sure Don MacPherson could give a crap about the RT-Macross feud. He didn't like the book, and after following this site for a few years, i have found he generally has good taste in comics. I sincerely hope that no one takes his negative review of this book and says "he didn't like it because crapping on a RT book makes his life complete." He didn't like the book because it had a lot of flaws. hell, some people may love it, but here we have an impartial voice saying the comic kinda sucked. take that how you will.

    Yeah, but theres "a man can run really, really fast" or "a guy can climb walls cause he was bit by a spider" ridiculous, and then theres "oh my god, his face is PINK" ridiculous, which is found on the far side of the spectrum. That look may look ok for Sinestro and Katma Tui, but not so much for rick.

    Without a doubt, Dune. Frank Herbert weaves an intricate story of Religion, Politics, Economics, love, hate, betrayal, hope, victory and defeat in his 6 book epic. honestly, any of these books are good enough to be classics, but together, they are some of the best BOOKS to ever come out, not just in the Sci-Fi genre. Dune gets my vote....at least thats what my honored matre imprinter told me to say...

    If the figure doesn't have realistic soldering iron and gunshot wounds all over the body, then its lame. It also needs the big ass tattoo on his arm and track marks down his arm.

    Well, I like Macross, some Gundam (08th MS) and GitS: SAC. Other than that, nothing, so i think i'm a shoe in for this club. I Also read comics, but do shower on a regular basis, so i am also a self hating comic fan. This a great movement you've started here Roy. we need to go mainstream with this.

    another trick i have heard for coloring the face plate was using a green sharpie. i haven't done it myself on mine, but i do understand that someone from this site had done it.

    Boomer was a Raptor pilot, wasn't she? I don't think they had her flying Vipers. either way, i think when Pegasus arrives, the Galactica will get more pilots and maybe more vipers, likely Mk VII's. plus, they can't ALL die when the Pegasus goes up, so some of them will end of on the galactica after its said and done. should be interesting either way.

If Marie Warner is back, then can Kate Warner be far behind? I LOVE Sarah Winter, and would love to see her back in the Show, almost as much as Tony and Michelle.

    well it can't be too hard a transition. As it is, Kojima's Metal Gear Games have become almost movies. by and large, they've been pretty good.
