Cultural issue. The Bandai representatives at SDCC 2003 explained how young american audiences would not understand the idea of "super deformed," hence the new use of the SD acronym of superior defender. thats crap. There were Star Wars SD figures, and they had Super Deformed Written on them.

on my Patlabor MG's, i use a Pigma Sakura .005 pen. it came out looking alright.

i built a couple of Patlabor MG's, the Type 1 and 2 Ingrams, and some HG Gundams, The Gouf Flight, the Ez-8 and the Kampfer.

i had started buying those MMI comics, but i think i'll wait for the inevitable trade to get them......

I suggest you take another look at the Zaku II figure and compare it to the machine gun that comes with it. The gun is way oversized for the figure, a big screwup that still went unfixed even with the version 2.0 release of the Zaku II figures. for that reason alone, i cannot wait for the FIX Zaku....

the samurai Spawn figures kicked ass. i'm looking foward to seeing them out again.

probably either some advance destroids or Valks in Battroid as Armor, The Ground Pounders in power armor of some kind, definately VF's for Close Air Support, maybe some orbital support, like the Satellites guarding earth in M+ as indirect fire....

yeah, thinking that way, a power suit or destroid would make more sense in that kind of application, to fight in cities. but i think UN Spacy would still use Valks as a type of Infantry fighting in open steppes or plains, or even mountainous terrain. why not? they could use their full compliment of weapons without fear of collateral damage.
