Rob Liefeld's Teen Titans
Isamu Atreides 86 replied to terry the lone wolf's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Starfire and Cyborg are the oldest of the Titans in this pic. Both probably in their 20's. Robin alludes to that in one of the issues. Remeber, she had previously been involved with/engaged to Nightwing (Dick Grayson). Cassie (Wonder Girl), on the other hand is still a teenager (16-18). -

Rob Liefeld's Teen Titans

i could understand only DC giving this guy work, but Marvel does the same bloody thing. He wrapped an X-force mini, and i think he's "writing" a Shatterstar mini.... ....and for the record, Adam Warren wrote a hell of a Gen 13 run, before the canned it to give crappy Claremont his shot. -
Rob Liefeld's Teen Titans

you know what the sad thing is? Teen Titans is one of the best books out by DC right now, and Gail Simone does fantastic work. Liefeld is just screwing this up for everyone. -
I agree, except that the CK was not Roland's nemesis. Flagg was. And Mordred took care of him. Either way, Roland was cheated out of his revenge. As for the Gun leaving, doesn't Roland get both Guns when he reappears in the Desert? plus, he once again has all his fingers. One thing that did disappoint me was that Jack Sawyer and his new wife did not factor into the end of this story. If Jack and the Bikers from Black House did not set the breakers free, who did they set free? i thought those kids were breakers. maybe Jack freed them from breaking another beam....

Hile, sons and daughters of Gilead!!! Spoilers, big time baby.... So, this is the clearing at the end of the path?? wow. i have to say i enjoyed this book, but it was by far one of the saddest books i have ever read. first eddie, then jake, and lastly Oy. damn, all three were stabs in the heart. plus, the scene where Roland bids Susannah goodbye was absolutely tragic. One can only wonder where this story would have gone had King not been hit by that van. i didn't so much mind his part in this book after all. it seems like it belonged. what i want to know is how did Roland escape Jericho Hill? It only seems right that Roland keep wandering, and also that Susannah finds Jake and Eddie waiting for her through the artist's door. it made me happy for her, but you have to wonder, who will Roland find when he next comes upon the doors? i doubt it will be those three again. i guess they have reached the end of their paths. its pretty sad to think it will be a long time before Roland sees them again in the clearing. Overall, I enjoyed this book, even though it was a truly heart wrenching experience. even after Susannah finds Eddie and Jake again, i still felt for Oy, and hoped he finds them too. Its been a great ride, I love these books and the Ka-tet of 19. Besides, maybe if he does it enough, Roland can find happiness. maybe Gilead remade, maybe Susan unburned?? As sad as the ending is, there is still hope for Roland, i think. Long Days and Pleasant nights!!! Say Thankya!!!

I would say read the original Sin City first, then A Dame to Kill for and The Big Fat Kill. I have not read That Yellow Bastard, Family Values or Booze, Broads and Bullets, But i really liked the first three, so check em out first. Also, Try 300 if you haven't. that is one awesome book. its about the battle of Thermopolyae in 481 BCE, and its freaking great. I head they're thinking of adopting this one into a film as well.

Since i think each segment has a different director, i think its safe to say there will be segments. I can't wait for the Big Fat Kill. thats my favorite of the Sin City series. Dwight, Gail and the Ladies of old town killing a whole lot of people.

Its gonna be in Black and White, except for certain things. for instance, That Yellow Bastard will be Yellow, Blood will probably be red, and so on. looks awesome. the casting looks dead on. Mickey Rourke as Marv and Clive Owen as Dwight. the Ladies are gonna rock this one. Jessica Alba, Carla Gugino and Rosario Dawson. If You haven't, read the Trade Paper Back Collections. these things kick ass.

At this point, I wouldn't doubt it. Though I'm also sure there's no shortage of young big titied blonde starlets who'd jump at the chance to wear next to nothing to be in a major motion picture. eh, i disagree with this statement. Anna Paquin, while pretty cute, is not the most well endowed of ladies, and yet, Rogue, is constantly bein drawn as such in the comics. they don't have to cast someone with a huge Rack, but it would be nice. Grant Morrison actually did a lot for Emma's Character in New X-Men. he turned her from a second tier character, and actually managed to shake up the stale old Jean-Scott relationship. In My opinion, shes one of the more interesting characters out there. certainly more interesting than Wolvie.

hehe. Scott hits that. Greg Horn Kicks all kinds of ass. i think they are gonna release an art book with his various paintings. Frank Cho rocks, too. hes doing a MAX series for marvel's adult line up of books. should be awesome. check out some of the artwork here

I'd have to say for me its the Marvel Legends line from Toy Biz. now it is true, they make some truly attrocious women figures (elektra), i absolutely love my Rogue figure. wide variety of characters and posability. of course any time rogue and remy are made into toys, they are my favorites! I don't know if they are toys, but i love my collection of William Britain metal soldiers. i have loads of them, from all Eras, but mostly the American Civil War. now THAT is a pretty expensive hobby.

yeah, its gonna be hottie Natassia Malthe.... damn hot if i may say so....

Its nothing new though. Hell, they did it to that excellent Kevin Smith Daredevil run too. I remember raving about the TPB to a hardcore comics friend of mine and how much I liked it. Then he told me like 2 months later Mysterio was back from the dead, making the series and its powerful ending basically MOOT. I was not a happy camper. except that marvel continues to coddle Kevin Smith. Smith has two miniseries that have yet to be completed and the first issues came out over a year ago. Daredevil: the Target and Spiderman/Black Cat have yet to be finished, and probably will never be.
