  1. Hey this is a great thread, can't wait till you get to the vegitation part. Hey where do you get your Verlinden stuff, they're kinda hard to find?
  2. Oh I beg to differ I have seen drawings of SD GI- Joe Plus bobble heads and what do you consider the Playschool Starwars? those are SD too. Playskool being the opperative word there.
  3. I agree... SD stuff is a little silly, in my opinion. Silly?!?!? Are you people crazy?!?! Yes silly , explain why you like them, I'd like to understand.
  4. Hey WM, thanks for the article link it was great. Particularly interesting was his idea of using thinned Tamiya Smoke for panel lines and exaust. What do you think of this WM?
  5. I've always sprayed future out of the bottle straight and it went on fine. It seems pretty thin to me. Ammonia works well with cleaning up future too.
  6. Yeah, I'll have to get it cuz I'm a Hasegawa completist.
  7. I voted not interested, I never got the fascination with the SD stuff.
  8. That came out really nice, I can't believe how detailed that tiny thing is. You know you've done a good job when you can't tell what scale something is. You need to put this in the "How to build a model" section.
  9. I have option pack Decal #03, that ain't it.
  10. Hhahahahahahhahaha LOL! I man I was just watching LOTR while I was reading that last thread, too funny.
  11. So I don't get it, I thought they were releasing a kit not a new option pack of decals?? Which is it or both maybe? The packaging on the picture looks exactly like one of there option packs.
  12. You shouldn't have any problems finding any of the Hasegawa kits, try HLJ.com or Valkyrie-exchange.com. Yahoo Shopping always has a good selection too just type in macross 1/72.
  13. That's kinda my point about Macross zero, how realistic is it that all the mechs appear more advanced than those from the original series that came after them?
  14. It's just about money, you wouldn't believe how difficult and expensive a steal mold costs (especially one that's of there high standards). Why do you think Legos are so expensive? They know the sales of a VF-1 is a sure thing and they could reuse the molds for almost every VF-1 plan kit they made. Now suppose they want to make a Phalanx Destroid, there's only one variation of that and how many people would buy one? The Battle pods just don't make sense though, that can make one basic mold and have 3 more variations on it, that totally fits their model. Oh well. Grayson72
  15. 16. There is another option, he could have shot him in the head with one of those forearm missiles. I can't tell from the screen capture but you can't really tell if it was the gun that went off or a missile.
  17. I talk to Jesee and 007, they help me with my Macross model addiction. I talk to Monkey Nuggett too sometimes since I've been a pretty good customer of his.
  18. Gabe, you are 100% correct in your definitions of those symbols
  19. Shawn, love the models only forum, now I don't have to weed through the toy posts to find the model ones. In just one click I'm emersed in models mmmmmm-model heaven-mmmmm. I'm a completist in a funny sort of way. I collect every type of 1/72 scale Macross model, I don't care who makes them as long as I have one of each type. For example Club-M made the Elint and Ostrich models in 1/72 but now that Hasegawa has them I'm fine with just having the Hasegawa builds. But when the 1/72 Monster and Phalanx came up for sale I had to have them, it didn't matter what they cost, as long as I could complete the 1/72 lineup. The reason I like models is because of the detail, I'm always fascinated by how much intricate, minute detail can be included adding to the realism and therefore the believability of the object in question. Again thanks for the separate forum. Grayson 72
  20. Yeah it's stinks for suckers like me who have to have every Macross kit Hasegawa makes. This one really came out of the blue though. The last one I bought was that stupid Virgin Road VF-1D man that was a stretch but at least it was actually in the series. I heard there gonna release the VF-22S in Millia colors too.
