  1. That's the same order I use, the decals stick better to glossy surfaces. And then weathering afther the dull coat seems easier when using chalks.
  2. Cooooool, very nice, love the obscure detail stuff. I'll take several hundred, thanks.
  3. can't believe no one's commented on the Muskrat. I love this thing. Got a pic? I don't know what this is?
  4. I dont know...I thought I owned a lot...but I "only" have 1 of each...unlike Mechleader...WOW! Yeah good grief Mechleader, you gonna open a store with those. Seriously what are you gonna do with all those multiples?
  5. I wonder what percentage of all Macross Hasegawa models are owned by MacrossWorld Members? Maybe like 10%
  6. Would love to have this one, best sci-fi copter I've seen.
  7. Cool build but what the hell are you gonna do with those hands in battle?... scare all the kids? Looks like something out of Nightmare b4 Christmas.
  8. Why is it so hard for you guys to resize your pics down to 640x480 like the rules say.
  9. Let this be a lesson to you, don't ever underestimate the fanaticism of a Macross fan
  10. The only decals I ever destroyed was when I used Microset and Microsol at the same time. I turned the decal to mush. If you must use them both spread the set on first, put the decal on the model over it, dab it dry. Wait till the whole thing dries and then go back and use the sol on only the recessed areas were you need it.
  11. You have photo etch sets for the VF0's? Can we get a picture of them? Where'd you get them? How much, wanna sell a set?
  12. I'll definately be taking one, nice job both of you!
  13. I don't think it's that bad, my favorite is still the Ivanov version of the SV-51. This pic is clearly about marketing and making sure everyone gets the distinction between this and the other VF-0's
  14. I really like your effect for shading and highlights, it came it really nice. I don't think there was a enough contrast on the one I did. Plenty of exhaust marks though.
  15. I thin artists oil with low odor mineral spirits. Has no affect on the paint, particulary if the paint is glossy, flat leaves a ring. P.S., I like all the Phoenix missiles, it's supposed to be anime and not real.
  16. Ah yes from that perspective I can see your point. Acrylic paints is all I use, it's the preferred base for oil washed.
  17. Not bad after 10 years, I think the kite looks pretty realistic given the size of the Navy insignia on the low viz F-14's One comment, the panel lines are a bit too thick and dark for my tastes. Did you think about an oil wash?
  18. Not sure where you guys been but look at the dates of when people received their kits, this is a really old thread.
  19. Hey congrats LTSO! Thanks for sharing with us, is this your first or second? We had our second about 6 months ago and are really enjoying him. That's one big boy!
  20. Oh man, well it looks like I'm finally gonna have to buy a toy now
  21. Ooooh I can't believe you remembered that. It's like 90% complete, I have to attach the fastpacks on the back and then what's really holding me up is the last arm armor. The first one was such a pain I'm dreading doing the other side .
  22. Actually the Elintseeker does have two crew members.
