  1. Hey Captain, I hope if you make a scout version you'll offer a full kit and not just parts to upgrade this one. I'd hate to get stuck with just upgrade parts and nothing to stick them to cuz I didn't order 2 or 3 of the standard battlepods at the start.
  2. The onomatopoeias on the boxes are too funny "BOM" "KICH" "WOU"! I guess they never watched the old Batman episodes, now those had some good ones.
  3. I'd take a VF-4 in 1/48, love that aircraft. You gonna make one for us?
  4. Ditto. Thats an easy way to beg Hasegawa not to make anymore kits for Macross fans. Why are you recasting a kit that costs like... 20 bucks anyways? My thoughts exactly! Not to mention Shawn specifically requested we stop the whole recasting thing.
  5. It's called Hydro-span, the way it works is you have to make a mold of a master, then you pour in the Hydro-span, after it sets you take it out of the mold and soak it in water for 15 days. It would take several casts and recasts to go from 1/24 to 1/6 though so it may be cheaper to use the 3d service.
  6. Interesting thread, I have more models going on now than I ever have before: 1/72 Battroid/armored battroid kitbash 90% complete 1/72 X-9 Ghost 50% complete 1/100 to 1/72 Macross utility vehicle blowup 10% complete 1/32 F-14 50% complete
  7. Yeah I would've definately bought all the destroids.
  8. And now you know why us model purists don't really care much for transforming models, THEY'RE TOYS!
  9. On the battroid the lettering is supposed to be right side up, so in fighter mode the lettering would be upside down. The second picture you posted is of a VF-0B (completely different fighter), for some reason the lettering on one side of the pod on that particular fighter is right-side up and the other is upside-down. The VF-0B is the last model I built so I know that's how it goes based on the instuctions given. Oh the best way to print custom decals is to ask Anasazi to do it for you. Very affordable and the only way to get white decals printed.
  10. I guess you missed the thread about the artbook that is being released then?
  11. I ordered a whole bunch of resin from Micro-Mark, didn't seem to care if it was flammable or not and I live in CA.
  12. That's a pretty sweet lookin' fighter, thanks for the links Jesse
  13. Wow someone's in love with Macross2, I've never seen that defender either but it's pretty cool looking. The 2nd and 3rd links you list is the VF-2ss of which a fighter version has been done but not a 1/72 batroid version. Not that familiar with the rest of those. The one you picked looks like a bad guy though which are in short supply in toys & models so that'll be great!
  14. Well did you want to start off small, simple or complex or large?
  15. LTSO, you're turning into a real model elitist... just like me!
  16. Doesn't matter to me, I'm just after accuracy and detail.
  17. I hope so too, the box art from the Ivanov SV-51 is just too cool.
  18. Arii and Imai made all the destroids except the Phalanx and Monster in 1/72. There's also the WF line of resin kits which include all destroids. Check out the complete 1/72 list of models.
  19. Ooooh thanks Jipe, forgot about all those and I especially loooove the Sikorsky AH-72 Commanchero. Prolly second on my list then.
  20. All these ships came with a to scale Macross ship.
  21. NO!! not 1/60 it won't go with any other models I have
  22. I'd love a big scale ARMD though. I think that was supposed to be the QF-3000, my bad Ravenstar, the 3000 was from the original Macross series and has never been produced. The one you're thinking of is the X-9 Ghost from Macross plus and was produced by EBO in 1/72 scale (I'm in the process of building the kit)
