  1. Well now that I've completed the battroid kitbash and the Ghost x-9 this weekend I started some new projects. 1/72 VF-1D variable with add-on armor 10% 1/72 SV-51 Ivanov 5% 1/32 F-14 50% (on hold, those PE parts are a pain in the ass)
  2. My god man, I think I'm gonna cry, not only because that thing looks great but your skill in building it makes me feel so inferior. You must tell me, when cutting out styrene, how you get things so square and plumb to each other? Also, do you really think you'll be building an ARMD in the same scale (please say yes)?
  3. Yes you must finish the oberth first, that would be waaaay tooooo cruel for us So is this part of the second batch of kits or the first?
  4. Great job on the build, your panel lining is perfect, can you explain how you did it? I'm always trying to perfect my technique.
  5. Man that was a stupid question, I've heard some whoppers in my time but that one takes the cake. ha ha, just kidding. Actually the yellowing of white paint has been the long time enemy of many a modeler. I don't know if the white paint you used is acrylic based or oil based but oil based paints tend to yellow more. I actually have only had yellowing problems with my oil paints I've used not the acrylics. The only other suggestion I have would be to keep them out of the sunlight as much as possible. Good luck
  6. Nice build, how did you do the black stripes? they make it look very believable.
  7. Try 1/1000, it's a spaceship not a fighter.
  8. Well the stuff you use to melt the decal isn't to protect it, it's called MicroSol and it's to make the decal form to irregular shapes. I use Future floor wax to seal in my decals and then a coat of Lacquer based dulcoat to flaten it out (since Future is real shiny)
  9. Heh, yeah that's a HUGE Noggin!
  10. Thanks for sharing, man the guardian mode is spot on to the OVA. Sweet!
  11. Awesome, that's a great tip! Thanks
  12. Here's my new baby, I've always wanted this car and was finally able to get it. 330Ci Oh yeah.
  13. So what is your technique for cutting out the little triangles in the wings? I can see one of the cut-outs and it has a bunch of little dots on it. They look very accurate and semetrical.
  14. Ah thanks, sure enough there's the models. Man I'd love to have those.
  15. I saw it on Yahoo Japan, was a magazine for sale
  16. They better be removable for proper casting later This is such a great build up, really educational just from a scratch building perspective.
  17. Yeah which kit are you talking about there's several different Phalanx kits.
  18. Nice work, looks really sweet! You need to go back and resize your pics though, 640x480.
  19. Looks good, I'd agree with LTSO's assessment, the shading you did looks more like camo stripes than weathering.
  20. I hope you didn't keep track of who paid by the posts on this site.
  21. Now that is a thing of beauty, absolute perfection, keep it comin'
  22. I wouldn't worry so much about the casting, there's always someone with a lot more experience around here willing to do that. I'd focus on getting the sculpt right which should take you a really long time if you're new at it.
