  1. I don't know man, you sound more excited about the Macross work. ~waves hand in front of Cobywan's face~ "you are more excited about the Macross work"
  2. Yeah the Defender had horrible fit and seam issues, what a pain. It's like they had one person create one half and another person create the other and hope the two halves match up.
  3. Was wondering if we'd lost you Cap'n, glad you're back, can't wait to see what the next project is.
  4. The same is true for Macross. I think the license limits them to 20 kits per year which for WF comes to 10 kits per event. Carl 326592[/snapback] I realize all that but then they never showed up at subsequent WF events, just that one year.
  5. Someone was working on a pretty cool 1/35 scale Spartan, I can't remember who it was or how it ended up. Anyone?
  6. Sweet, a 1/32 Valk will go perfectly with all my modern jet fighter models in that scale.
  7. Sanding and smoothing of seems are my least favorite part of modeling, it's just so tedious and rarely comes out perfect (in my mind) for all that labor. Kudos to you man, you're really taking your time on this build and doing it right. It looks great! I did the same thing when I built my first valk and then I got kind of lazy after I built the fourth one of these. Keep it up, love the ejection handle too.
  8. Woah! we've got a real artist on our hands here boys! Check this bad boy out, I can't believe you painted this Honneamise
  9. Speaking of the Cap'n where's he been?
  10. How dare you speak of toys here!
  11. I was seriously considering doing the catseye or the dragon as my next project but then got distracted by my Club-M VF-11 rare WF version and started that instead. Can't seem to find enough time to build though, I wish I had HWR's drive. 007 the detail on that cockpit is awesome, how'd you do it?
  12. Why go to the trouble though, you can still buy these from HLJ for 12 bucks.
  13. Buy a model railroading magazine, those guys know how to do water like no one else.
  14. Well you did a great job then, I can't believe the markings are hand painted, very impressive. I posted pics of mine a long time ago, it was heavily weathered. I actually found your buildup of this thing, what happened to the diorama and the little Hummers you bought?
  15. Oh I thought it may have been an old one, I noticed some seamlines but that model has got some tough places to get at.
  16. HWR, thanks for sharing, when did you build the Defender?
  17. Agree, great photography, can you share your setup for how you took these shots?
  18. Ok looks like the kits are now on their way to me from Germany, can't wait to get mine! I'll send them out to everyone ASAP when I get the package.
  19. I have Trumpeter's F-105 G with every upgrade and add-on kit I could find. I haven't' actually built the thing yet though. I'm really looking forward to their upcoming releases of the Corsair and the Harrier in 1/32.
  20. I like the low viz scheme they used in that pic. That prolly the way I'll do mine.
  21. Man look at all those pieces I can't figure out why someone would go to that much trouble to create such a complex kit and then only sell 20 of them at one event.
  22. The backpack piece is actually worthwhile if it's on a kit with fastpacks because it's so apparent in that position. I've only done one and it wasn't too bad. It's a nice detail.
