1. Started the interest thread in the first page for our friend Honneamise. Please PM me for changes
2. I'd like to get 25 .... but I figure you'd sell about that many here, and there'd be no customers left over to go to SSM and buy one. And $85 is a bit pricey to be sitting gathering dust on my shelves here at the Galactic Control Center... .. even though $85 is a darn reasonable price for this kit, especially if it now comes with decals. http://www.starshipmodeler.com/mecha/jb_booster.htm ^ Gundamhead's review of the first issue. 334877 Or you could buy the whole batch for a bulk discount and then everyone who wanted one would just get them from you
3. Hi Kylwell, we won't start production until we get enough pre-orders so it may be awhile. Hopefully we'll get some orders from the folks over at SSM as well.
4. Are you gonna be able to get that stuff oughta there? That's one of the reasons on don't like liquid mask at all.
5. Who you kiddin' you don't have anything else to do
6. Keep in mind, in your first sketch the aircraft is turned away from you almost 3/4's (you can see most of the rear nozzle) so it would appear smaller in that sketch.
7. Hey I used your technique tonight! Worked really well for the application I was using it for. Not sure it would work that well if you were trying to achieve a perfectly smooth surface over a large area. I used Lacquer thinner with Q-tips Thanks again
8. The x-9 model I have is bigger, same scale too.
9. Oh yeah, savory, makes my mouth water mmmmmmm
10. Honneamise, please post lots of savory progress pics Thanks
11. 9 so far, that was fast, Hurray for Honneamise! Ahem LTSO chime in here anytime with your order.
12. Too funny, I'm at the exact same stage on my SV-51

14. You're crazy, we don't actually build the kits we all collect here, we just collect them Isn't that right LTSO?
15. Key word being 'should'. While the manufacturers sing praise of the lasting quality of these optical discs, I already have some CDs in my collection displaying syndromes of laser rot within 10 years of purchase. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same thing in my DVD collection within a few years. All the low prices on DVDs gotta have something to do with relaxed QA standards, in fact I've noticed a rising frequency in bum discs I got as new releases. 333677 While CD's and DVD's look similar they are in fact manufactured quite differently. CD's have the aluminum media layer placed on top of the CD blank. The DVD is actually sandwiched and sealed in between two blanks. This offers a lot more protection and a much longer life.
16. Sorry, decals are only with the new kits.
17. Hey thanks for the link, how well has this technique worked for you? I wonder if it would work with Tamiya putty? Thanks
18. Hmm I was with ya on the styrene sheet detail but the extra arm armor may have been too much. Sucks about the slipage, I'm sure you can fix it back to perfection though.
19. You did your nails while doing the model??!! Man you're good
20. I bought the masters not Jesse, he's doing the casting. Neither of us have the launch rail
21. I need to get interest in at least 20 kits before production can begin, may be a month or so.
22. Appreciate the sharing, however please adhere to board posting rules which state that pictures should be a maximum of 640x480. Thanks
