1. Just buy yourself a $15 dollar bench grinder, they're invaluable or a Dremel tool would do it too (the Dremel really does have a 1001 uses). You own a car you have to have some tools.
2. The other thing I would add is try using a flat coat over the final product (after you've removed/protected the clear parts). It will hide all the shiny bumpy parts on your model.
3. Looks great kurt, even with no weathering I think I'd still want panel lines though.
4. Uh yeah that'll, work might as well give her a bowling ball with the name Homer on it.
5. If you could post some mockup pics that might help ppl to decide easier. A pic is worth 1024 words
6. That makes 30 my friend! I told ya this would be a popular subject!
7. I had this one and sold it, it's horrible, it's a resin cast of the Retppu Vinyl kit, no gear and actual sanding marks already cast into the pieces for your inconvenience.
8. You are correct! The box says Wonder Festival '98 on the front.
9. Just a quick update, the masters are at the casters and the decals are on their way to my house so this is still so on!
10. That's a great idea, I'd throw in Thorsten's scratch build ups as well though.
11. Yup, that's the club M alright, I know cuz I'm building my original right now. The one on hobbyfan has 6 out of 10 orders so four more to go before they restock it. I noticed from looking at that kit that the nosecone (more duckbilled than mine) and wingshape is different than the Club M that I have, it also has fastpacks which mine doesn't have. Anyone know what kit that is?
12. Oh yes! it's taking shape, my dream of a 1/72 QF Ghost is finally going to come true! I love you Thorsten!
13. Ok ok, enough about artwork, I wanna see some progress shots of the model master.
14. But doesn't that look like a vertical "tail" wing and not a main wing? 341859 If I compare it to electric indigo´s VF-4 it looks like wings AND tail fins look more curved and with a tip like in Valkyries pic. Are there different kits out or is the new one modified? Just curious, not that I´m too concerned about these differences, the new kit looks great 341888 Honneamise, there's actually 3 different 1/72 versions of the VF-4, Electric Indigo's is the Club M I believe, this version is based on the one from Musasiya and the other one is a vinyl kit from Retpu(sp?)
15. Don't worry Ido, the brake decal always does that, there's no way around it, just make sure to put lots of solvent on it so it conforms to the part and then put some wash on it. Those recessed areas should be dark anyways.
16. Good lord man, that is absolutely beautiful!
17. Nice Gabe, do you have one of each Hase kit? Not into resin? yet
18. Added you, Any updates Honneamise?
19. You really do need to see the contents of the book. It is definitely worth that and more. 340155 So we're supposed to spend $40 of our own money and time so you can see the book? Buy all the models, you can see the art first hand.
20. The gray panels you put in front of the upper intakes look fantastic, I'm going to have to put those on any new fighters I build.
21. Hey guys, wasn't sure if all you boys over here in the toys section knew about these new bases. They make nice stands for displaying some of your finer pieces. http://www.themodelbase.com/misc.asp
22. Which Macross games are you guys playing on the PS2? is there more than one? Are they any good?
