1. Cool I'm in for a game with just da three of us.
2. Dude I'm in Sacramento, if you find a game I'm in.
3. that's a hasegawa valk with a atmospheric booster attached to it, which can be purchased separately at starshipmodeler.com (oh that was shameless wasn't it fellas)
4. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you LTSO, toy hater extraordinaire.
5. I'm still hoping you'll make a vehicles set and a set of people in various uniforms.
6. I really can't understand why you'd want a model for transforming, they aren't toys, just build 3 different ones in different versions.
7. What's your problem Chrono you got a reindeer shoved up your ass?
8. Got mine today as well, dude you rock! Oh warning for all though, the open missile racks for the sides weren't in bags but mixed in with all the paper confetti, don't throw them away.
9. You mean Devin hasn't recreated these yet and made them available?
10. Wow, looks really good so far, you seem to be quite comfortable with PE sets. Any tips on glueing? My PE parts never seem to adhere that well no matter what kind of CA I use.
11. Shouldn't be too late, wow that brings the total to one short of 60, you hit the jackpot Thorsten.
12. Not sure why you'd want to go to the extra trouble and expense. Since they're models and you'll be painting them. There shouldn't be any scratches unless you're PLAYING WITH YOUR MODELS! LOL j/k
13. Me too, I already pointed out that the whole thing looked a bit too "handmade" for me - those openings are just one of several issues. But it´s funny - the more I look at the kit and think about the original the more I like it. I mean, all those Zentradi Ships are meant to look something between used, beaten up and organic (they started up with "used" in the TV series, the "organic" features were more of a DYRL thing). I imagine how it would look like with all surfaces smooth and perfectly symmetrical - don´t know if I´d find that more convincing. Difficult to judge. If I had too much money I´d buy one to find out.... 385035 Was kinda thinking the same thing Thorsten, I mean that thing is supposed to be like 5 miles long. At that scale how sharp and crisp would it be? Of course I've seen a small model of a super star destroy that was like a foot long and that thing sure looked crisp.
14. Thorsten, seem like at that scale you wouldn't have to worry about what their faces looked like. Just their uniforms and hair for the unique characters.
15. HO scale buildings usually look ok with 1/72 stuff. Have you seen some of the military stuff from Faller? Nice! Do you have a good link to any Preiser military buildings?
16. Ok here's the link: http://www.starshipmodeler.com/cfstore/ind...&Product_ID=622 Five bucks less than the original and comes with full color printed instructions and water slide decals. Also, the caster figured out a way to cast the engine bells so there wouldn't be a seam running down the side anymore.
17. I always had a little diorama in mind with the cola vending machine, Minmay arguing with the annoying little kid and Hikaru and Roy leaning against a wall watching the scene - maybe combined with a VF-1D to have a little more substance in 1/72 scale. But wait - it has to be AFTER the cola machine went over to the guys- Roy looks cooler with the can in his hand! somehow it reminds me of a guy I once knew - we used to deliver radioactive stuff with a van and when we had a break he used to buy a can of coke then put some Vodka into it - then he went on with the driving..... 384453 Do you think you could sculpt little tiny people and make them be recognizable?
18. Same here, didn't know what it was but I'd buy one.
