I'm with you Neptune, TV or movie doesn't matter, it's all about ships being in scale with other ships. 1/1000 is my vote.

What we need now are some good color schemes so every one of these doesn't have to be gray with orange trim.

Yeah I bought the MIM kit years ago and it was absolutely awful. So it's probably only worse now.

The set is awesome and I think we've been waiting for a decade to have someone do these so than you. The one thing I'd say to try and incorporate in your next set would be to have the parts fit together on natural seemliness as opposed to the model split down the model. You did this to the crane truck and it was a huge improvement.

You forgot to mention the platoon of R/C tanks.

I stumbled upon this thread doing a search for Sacramento. I've got a big house and a 65" plasma but I doubt anyone wants to come up here. I'm East of Sacramento on the way to South Lake Tahoe though.

What's funny too is that the tiny scout ship is about 1.5 times the size of an aircraft carrier.

Got mine, awesome as usual, it's amazing how small the scout ship is in comparison.

I'm thinking the boomtruck is fine.

I was going to day the same thing about the tractor. It looks a bit small for a seated 1/72 figure.

Wow that came out awesome, when it's mouth is open it looks like a whale about to suck down a bunch of krill.

The truck looks great. If you actually come through with these it'll be the end of a six year wait for everyone. Is it safe to assume the truck will come in pieces for the lift part?
