  1. That's pretty cool. I like the fact that you put troops in the ruined building, it adds the realism and "look at how huge i am" factor
  2. well, that woud definately put a kai-bash on medelling for a while... swift recovery!
  3. I live in the same city as Mr. Small... but wow... that article on making moulds is great! it's a lot of questions answered!
  4. i've always wanted a fold booster and missiles for my yf-19... sweet!

wow... I didn't even notice the hands... I hope that doesn't mean he (or she) scratch-built it... if he did I have another erson on the green (envy) list...

that's a boss conversion right there... well done!
  7. I'll have to give that one a shot... great idea!
  8. You're a bit late to the party my friend, they shipped mine a couple of days ago. I was away...and not having pre-ordered one it wasn't waiting for me when I got home either...
  9. The new "all the supers in one box" is out now @ HLJ http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?HSG17
  10. just trying to "bump" the link to keep it noticed, but any more progress?
  11. nicely done
  12. It seems to be growing on me as well... I just love that boxart too... does anyone know of any posters of the hasegawa boxarts?
  13. not 4 missiles... there are planes that i've seen with 4 bombs to a pylon... but not missiles...
  14. Games workshop primer... in BIG spraycans... "Chaos Black" or "Smelly White Primer"... works very well... it's great for mini figures, AND everything else... I use it alot for mini's and armour... so I assume it will work well for Aircraft, Though I have never tried it... just a little care not to overspray it and it should work great.
  15. I use a toothbrush... i find that going over the model a few times really gets the crud out.
  16. nice!! more pics!!
  17. and swithch-out the whole backpack... FAST packs tail and all.
  18. If you need time to move it around... I would suggest the Testors stuff in the orange tube... I have recently moved to something called Tennax-7... it's pretty fast evaporating, but works good.
  19. well... in the third episode shin did get his VF-0D blown out form under him...so maybe he gets a "B" soon... and they do have the reactor-engines... Anyway... i'm not gonna go for it... the VF-0D looks cooler.
  20. a 1/32 Vf-1 would be pretty sweet... but I bet that blast shield base was a chore in it's self. And thanks for the articles on the Tomcats... Fujimi wins the money...
  21. aww... Most of the links say the boards are down... damn!
  22. I love tomcats... and rooting around in the "building que" (to filtch a term from another board member) I realised I have none.... I'm probably gonna buy the Tomcat in 1/32 from Tamiya... but what are the best small-scale (1:72nd) ones? Fujimi or Hasegawa? PS: about the smaller-scale kit question: acuracy is not as important as fit in this case.
  23. I usually build my models gear up... aircraft are meant to be in the sky, not sitting on the ground... unless they are put into a diorama, i usually figt with whatever kit to get gear up. I love the Tamiya Zero in 1:32nd because you can raise and lower the gear after completion. Not to hijak the thread, but what does everyone else prefer, up or down?
  24. yea, I'd love to see the rest of it...
  25. hmm... looks like it disapears when it's in battroid form (I can't see it when I watch the episodes...) ... but yea... there should apparently be some seam there.
