It's an interesting question, but possibly one skewed by viewpoint. Manga/anime style characters do display some asian physical features- small noses and chins- so it;s a question of what the defining characterisics are to the artist in question. When I think of Initial D's characters (it's the manga/anime i'm most familiar with, so sue me..) they may not look what I percive as "japanese", but they don't look "western" either.

Well, yes, but from my memory of B5 (and it's been a very long time since I've watched it), not much gets shown inside those earth capships. The bridge might be in that section. or, the spinning section is used for crew quarters or "comfort" areas, while the rest is gravity-free and the crew just have to deal with it. Artificial gravity must exist in the B5 universe, as all the other races have it on their capships, and the white star has it... anyway, aside from the abvious choices- starfury, A, X, and Y wings, etc, I really liked a lot of the designs from the early wing commander games- especially wing 2...

I'm a new de-cloaking lurker as well. I sholuld be getting my first yammie (1/60 CF) tomorrow. as I understand it, a few of the first 1/60 VF-1s don't have the appropriate holes/clips to take armor- there was a thread recently about which 1/60s could take the FAST packs- I'm assuming that the valks that won't take FAST packs are the same as the ones that can't take the armor.
