It's 230 A.M. and I'm having my free time now, BSG plays on Space TV on saturdays here I think. I'll probably never have a chance to watch it regularly as I have yet to see one ep. however I did see the pilot movie and it rocked.......so I have to read what's posted here until the DVD's are avalable

Not to be creative stick in the mud but it will be difficult to finnagle the right shape of the head to fit fighter mode, for one the shape and size of the pointy trough under the cockpit where the head fits into, back of the head to fit in front of the swing bar, able to rotate through the trapdoor while transforming. Wow details are going to be tricky! I'm sure there's enough talent in amongst the MW comunity to come up with something.......mmm, maybe, that's it! Hey fulcy you busy?

Nice pics Gabe Q !! and haterist I pried the J head apart pushed the peg that held on the green visor from behind. Then clipped off the peg and sanded and polished the back side so there wouldn't be a green circle as seen from the front. Then mylar chrome tape on the back side cut to size with sisscors after it was applied, then crazy glued it all back together. Oh and in case your wondering where the chrome tape came from it's made by "Mono-Kote" it's used to cover radio controlled planes 'comes in many colors incl. chrome. Wow long winded response huh???

Too cool, I've got...sniff, sniff just three valks sniff and only one thats started to be customized. Haterist is inspiring me to crack out the paints! You've got more non-cannon valks than I have total Very nice I think I like the "TV max - S" the best, thanks for the photos bud......saving to "my pictures" now..

Oh and one thing to add it's exactly the same color as the the TV Hikaru 1J, so it's slightly darker than the older brighter whites....again happy

That's pretty unique, I like it. Whatever stripe pattern you end up using I think it's a great original idea, I'm leaning towards "OOOO"'s idea with the stripe only on top of the head. It's up to you, how about picture of the whole thing?

Got mine from Kevin, same thing crooked skull, loose head in fighter mode but happy with it.

I have yet to go crazy spending on macross items. I too have bills and will continue to buy at my abismal rate... can't imagine not "wanting" anymore, maybe when I retire from my job?!
