If we compare the evacuation prosedures of M7 with the ones of MF, Mf seems that they don't really care much about civilian safety, even in the park were Fire Bomber was having his concert some kind of elevator pop out to take the civilians underground. The civilians in Sheryls concert should had been evacuated into some kind of basement shelter. Also i don't remember hearing city wide alarm sirens, we did hear them in Macross 7 and even in SDFM warning people of a attack on the fleet or enemy incursion into the town.

I went checking at Stores, it is true, Walmarts aisle is practically empty of transformers, while Target was pretty well stock it were battle damaged Jazz, arcee, tow truck guy and drone decepticons and repaints Barricade. I was lucky enough to find a Classic camaro Bumblebee that i wasn't able to get in wave 1.

The transfomers aisle have been stock full of Decepticons, I would be really lucky if i found the one autobot in it, I do think that kids would buy mostly autobots.

Yeah i was thinking the same, it was great hearing as the bgm of the battle between the insects and the VF-171, considering that it was used as the song for the initial trailer of Macross F and for the trailer of episode 2, I think it would be a first one that the intro song is actually sang within the series.

Weren't those guys that had insects first and then humanoid guys the enemies in Tekkaman Blade? I would certainly like to see a humanoid leader class for the insect creatures to enable communication and drama between the colony fleet and the insects as in SDF Macross and Macross 7 the big end theme was making the enemies change their point of view.

I found 7 MP Starscream in my local Walmart and got two of them, one to open and the second to probably leave it as display in the box. I agree also on a DVD release but isn't it still kind of soon, the serie hasn't been released yet and we are already discussing the format they will be selling the episodes? I guess it would all depend on which format is becoming popular there in the Japan market, we will probably even see lower quality bootleg DVDs produced from HD-DVD and Blu- if that demand is not satisfied. Considering it most probably not have a release anytime soon in America i will be downloading the episodes as they become available and purchase a serie box set when ever it becomes available.Considering I use my computer to watch my anime I don't think there will be problem finding a subtitle patch for japanese DVDs when the time come.

You are forgetting that in the Macross universe atleast from Macross 7 pilots are trained really young, i think Gamlin finished training when he was 16? It doesn't seem so rare to have kid pilots in Macross
