  1. Geez that box looks about the same size as the ones used for the 1/48. Wonder why it says "Anniversario" and not "Anniversary"?
  2. I think it's funny that the one valk I have no desire for constantly comes back in stock. I am however very happy to see this trend continue. It seems that Bandai has been ramping up their production since the release of the vf-171cf then rvf-25 and the re-release of the vf-25f.
  3. Um...why is his head backwards?
  4. Just buy two of the 3 packs so you can mix and match all you want. I bought three of the 3 packs and I was able to use all without problems however 4" is probably the most useful length. You could just buy a bunch of 6" ones and cut them down to size since the tips are removable
  5. Thanks Ozma! Yes its an Expedit 1x5 bookcase. It's very stable and solid although like with all ikea stuff, I wouldn't recommend moving it around too much. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20116274/
  6. I'm on my sixth week using these stands and have been checking my valks every 2 weeks and I'm happy to report no problems yet
  7. Space has become limited and I too have be slimming down my Macross collection. It sure took a lot of soul searching to decide on what to keep and what to sell. I arranged my DYRL shelf last week (still looking for Elint Seeker) and this week I arranged my Macross Frontier shelf. With super parts for vf-25g, rvf-25 and vf-171cf on pre-order I am almost done.
  8. I had that problem with my 25g. I put a hair dryer to it for about 10 seconds at a time and moved it down slowly then back up until it loosened up.
  9. man I need another 25F to display in battroid mode but I ain't gonna give NY $177 for it
  10. the alto is durable. never gave me any cause for concerns while transforming but it does provide frustrations
  11. I'm never ever transforming mine....EVER!
  12. Thanks LowViz! Yea I tried to spread the love for all the modes though I was definitely fighting the urge to use battroid to reclaim some of the shelf space. As for my VF-171, the triangles are perfect but I haven't transformed it nor do I dare to. I'm just going to throw on the armored parts and leave it in fighter mode forever.
  13. I've only had them displayed on the flightpose stands for about 2 weeks but I've been checking them periodically. So far so good but I do worry about the paint so I deliberately place the tips on areas where there are no tampo markings Nah I'm not worried. I have the window tinted with Gila tint which filters out 99% UV. It works pretty good. It lets some of the light through, keeps the room cool and maintains privacy.
  14. I had originally moved them to the lower shelf to keep them away from sunlight but I recently tinted that window and have been too lazy to move them back to the top
  15. I agree with Jason and great post LowvViz! Clean presentation is everything. Everyone who has seen my collection immediately assumes that they're models. I haven't gotten "are these transformers?" or "you collect toys?!" BUT I have heard from my fiance's sister "you collect dolls?". She was referring to my 1/6 Hot Toys collection....
  16. It makes sense that they didn't include the Fast Packs since we all know they plan to double dip and release it later as a set and sell them separately for those who bought this "special" version. However, if Arcadia is going to re-use Yamato's version 2.2 designs then they should've at least included the 30th Anniversary option parts since that was where Yamato left it at.
  17. yep that's why I don't have Max with strike packs. It was a tough decision because I have Super and Strike packs on all of them but I wanted to keep it legit. I'm hoping they re-issue a VE-1
  18. With the flight pose stands arriving I was finally able to setup my DYRL shelves. Next is the Macross Frontier shelves. And before anyone freaks out, yes that window has been tinted.
  19. The plus side with those high Arcadia prices is I don't feel so bad now about coming into this hobby so late and having to spend $150-$180 for my DYRL Yamatos
  20. I was starting to regret selling my YF-29 30th but now that feeling has completely gone away with this being released!
  21. Finally got notification that USPS is preparing to ship my stands. It's about Effin time!
  22. i pre-ordered 3 sets of the 3 packs and im still waiting for my shipping confirmation. I sent them multiple emails and messages on their fb page and got 1 generic response. this is the first and last time I'm ever going to order from them.
