i've been through the first 3 dvd's (rented from blockbuster) yay! they now carry macross so i have a couple questions... i think hikaru in the "minmay" episode (#4 i think?) saysthat they shouldn't have a problem finding other people as the ship is just under 1 kilometer long? that's it? it seems kinda small for something that can fit a city in it's hull... from the look of it, it's easily over 3 km long... especially if it can house 50,000 refugees. ... next question: the zentraedi are looking for "lost technology"? i think they mentioned in episode 11 or 12 that the Macross has "nuclear reactive weapons" what are these? from the looks of it, milia's battlearmor has some fairly reactive missile and that's all that i noticed that the macross units have. (missiles on the valks) why do the zentraedi seem so wowed or freaked out about it? thanks for being patient to a newb... oh and congrats to me... i'm on my way to becoming a full fledged macross guy... one last thing. it's very very, very good story, very original hope the last 2/3s of the series is as good as the first third.

hey guys... i'm in vancouver, canada. i went to blockbuster and it seems like they've got a couple of macross dvd's in the new release section. in a black case, black cover. with a 1 character over the UN Spacy logo... checked the back, says anime eigo? is this the remastered version? or did blockbuster pick up the old dvd's?

hmm... would i be bad if i asked where i can find some bootlegs? i'm an artist and always in need of more reference material. the RPG source books don't quite cut it... though nanashi seems to be rectifying the situation a bit

alrighty then... does anybody want me to pass Perfect Memory on to them? i'll probably be heading to the store next week, but probably not for a while after that

um, i found it at a local store for 200 it's was really, really high up on a shelf and it looked like it was shrink wrapped. dunno if anybody would be interested? just thought if somebody wanted it i'd let you guys know? is it really worth it? have access to Macross II RPG as well, is that hard to find at all? just wanna know if i'm sitting on some gold mines here

legios, the new rules are really all the much different from the old ones... just expanded, they're not a re-write at all... now to answer the questions in turn. re: un spacy logo? um, bout 45 minutes of being really bored at the construction site. it's my first carving, i'd probably be able to cut it down to 30 next time around and make it look nicer. (provided i wasn't using a cheapy box cutter) to my knowledge, FASA somehow got permission from big west or somebody else from japan, but somebody else managed to sell off the "foreign" rights to harmonry gold. when FASA took on playmates (because they too used macross material) HG stepped in and said - we own the "out of japan" licence. i HATE Harmony Gold Capt Hungry since these are OOP now, i wouldn't mind if you donated them to me i'd give them a good home Skull Leader? ditto. i'd give them a good home. North of 49 - if you've still got the stuff in packaging DON'T OPEN THEM - worth some money. just need to list them correctly. i could find you buyers

hmmm it seems that i can only connect to the imacross server #7 it says in the FAQ to PM the server owners to the password? but there's passwords listed in the FAQ? i'm new to ftp and my bud hooked me up with flashfxp, which connected me to server #7 just fine. anyways... just hoping i can poke around the others if anybody is willing to give me the pass? as for Yukikaze, found the torrent file on server #7 and saw a model here a ways back (don't remember by who, but it was really good) does our hory froating head have anything to do with yukikaze? cause the unmanned fighter looks eerily similar to that civilian valkyrie from Macross II thanks guys

gotta thank kanata67 for trading with me i figured hey why not? i'm really really short on cash so i still haven't seen the original series yet oh well, getting some hours at work soon. piece of wood was a buggered up 2x6 i picked up at the construction site. was bored. started with a box cutter. thinking of painting it... but maybe not btw, these are like an inch and a half tall
