Since I haven't seen the end to M7, Did M & M both fly 22s? Were they Red and Blue as well?

"Agree to disagree and move on with your lives folks, this argument is rip van winkle old and not getting any fresher and there are a lot of us out here in the ether that are sick of it coming up like vomit all the time and playing out the same way every time." Unfortunately, you would have to change the very nature of Fanboyism. I've been around enough anime freaks to know that they can't drop it; ever. I suppose there is always the option of just ignoring the posts, but they seem to permeate everything in here, no matter the topic. Christ. I've been in this forum about 2 weeks and I see it very clearly. How can you drop an "I hate M7!" slam into something about a video game, etc etc!? I'm here because I like Macross. Plain and simple. I think that's what most of the posters here joined up for as well. Take this guy's advice and drop it or leave it in one forum so you can have your arguments without ruining other, more important topics. Thanks. engage flamer postings.....

The Clone Wars according to Lucas
Impreszive replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
There have been one or two good stories out of EU. The problem is that most of it is crap cashing in on the franchise. -
I only need 4 more jets to complete the VF-1s that I wanted. Max, Millia, The GBP, and the VT-1 hooray for no money!!!!

Why does the monster need a 3 man crew

........ ::sings:: "Three's Company tooooooo!!!" -
well, the 21 was stronger; or at least had the capability to be stronger without the governor. The problem was that no pilot could fly the plane under its full potential. I think the 19 was more asthetically pleasing, and reminded us of the older Valkyries. That is wahy it is so popular IMO.

Outside of one movie, I have never watched this series.

The Statue of Liberty Gundam. I like it Graham. That works well. Now lets add it to Gundam Streetfighter...I mean G Gundam (yo!) I think I will pick up this manga today. Looks interesting. I need another copy of Superman #204 anyways. Jim Lee babyeeee! ok. I'm done.

"Daioh, if perfected into a weapon, would be able to melt through chobham armor at 1000 yards with a sheer beam of cute." That has to be the funniest thing I have heard today. I'm going to use that one.

" Actually V's casualty rate is higher than Zeta's. While a lot of people die at the end of Zeta, they're consistently dying through Victory (plus a lot die at the end anyway). Dunbine outdoes both, but even it gets outdone by Tomino's own Ideon, which involves the entire universe exploding. There's not much more that can top that." I didn't know that. Of course, Lord knows how I will get to see V Gundam. Thanks!
-
never watched Dunbine I get tired of the whole apocalyptic destruction of the storline deal after a while. I heard about that and thought of it like alot of other anime, trying to be overly dramatic.

Thanks for the linkup!

"I hope that Gundam Seed doesn`t take over the Gundam franchise. If there a sequel they might call it Z Gundam Seed." Well considerind that almost every new Gundam story is an alternate history, it may as well take it over.

The Clone Wars according to Lucas

I think most of the Jedi are going to go out like punk b*$&s I'm not feeling too much drama about the situation unfortunately. -
ahh the Providence Gundam. one word comes to mind when I see that MS Ridiculous.
-
I think V Gundam did have a high mortality rate, but it still couldn't handle the numbers in Zeta.

next Xeno-whatever game please....

"Yes...considering they miraculously survived battles up till the end only to die a most unglorified death by a-stray (pun intended) beam rifle shot....... " "not as clumsy or random as a blaster" my ass......er ::cough:: I'm still sore about how Mu went down. The dynamic between him and Ramius was something I really liked. They deserved a shot together. Alas; that too is a Tomino staple. Geez. I'm starting to see the fatalistic pattern here....
-
It should use its Melta Gun on that place. It'd be an improvement.
-
My vote is on the latter.

You didn't need to appologize. I was making a comment. Tomino has this habit of whacking almost every character in his Gundam shows, by the end. Zeta Gundam set a record for character slaughter that has yet to be rivaled. I will say this though. Those chicks in those MS deserved better than that ending. I thought it was kinda pathetic.

"You'd be happy to know that they have toned him , as well as the other heroes down by alot, and also simplified the game. There are alot less numbers now." being the cynic that I am, and the rumblings I have heard; GW has once again made that army the Kraft of the gamming world. "It's the CHEESIEST!!!" ::cough:: Sorry. Noone can convince me that that army is any less craptacular than it was in 2nd Ed. The characters may have been dumbed down, but they made up for it in other departments. The other thing I have noticed is how expensive other armies have become as opposed to Chaos. One freaking Grey Knight is $10! Ahh 40k. Play Chaos or you don't have a chance. (although the Necrons are getting up there fast.....)
