    Very disappointed. That's about all I can say. The show just never hit a stride, in my opinion. Plot points with no payoff or resolution? No real motivation behind Windmere's aggression? Corruption in NUNS? Lady M? Megaroad 1? Look, unless this is that Episode 1 Prequel kind of thing where we get pieces of an overall plot that may take time to come to fruition, then everyone that worked on this totally missed the boat with this show.

    A semblance of a coherent plot with some answers to threads established throughout the run. That might be asking too much of an animation though....

    I'm an ardent Macross fan and I have slogged through this show. It feels to me that the writing staff was changed mid show, or something. The lack of coherency in this plot, and honestly the lack of what makes it "Macross" has been pretty apparent. I just don't get the vibe I got from Frontier with this show. Ah well. Two more to go till its over.

    I managed to snag this one, mostly for the fighter mode. I saw on the leg that it says Seigfreid. It took me a moment to realize that that delta winged valk in the Delta anime might be this one. Man. I am so behind on the times. Best Valk pickup though.....

    This actually answered a question I posted in the sale area earlier. I was wondering why the costs were so high on the v2s. I'll just have to buckle up if I want to replace my v1 Ozma.

    I'm curious. What was the big difference in the Bandai Renewal Versions from the original Frontier run items? I was checking ebay prices and I about fell off my bed at most of them. Were they really limited? Thanks!

    Sorry but even I am getting really tired of the constant beat down of the NUNS forces. This is getting a bit beyond ridiculous now. This episode had Amuro Ray Gundam levels of stupidity in that final fight. I had to vote this one down. At this point I am watching because it is Macross, but this show has been a definitive negative to me.

    And I am saving for a WRX Impreza. Unless I find a good price, I think I am going to be waiting a while on this one. I just saw what the VF-4 went for. Holy Cow! I really have missed out over the last few years.

    I just saw the prices on these. Holy crap! I've been out of the loop for a few years. What the heck happened? Not sure if $400 is a good price on that plane!

    Well it has certainly been a long time since I posted here. I watched a bad youtube vid of it. I honestly don't know what to think of it. On one hand, I am glad to have Macross back, but I am not so sure about this one yet. I wasn't the biggest fan of Macross 7. I'll give it a whirl when it comes out in the Spring, if only for some Valkyrie on Valkyrie action.

    I have to say. 2010 has definitely been a bit of a wash, up until this month. Lost the job, savings, retirement, and almost the shirt off my back. Graduated with my MBA, got a new job to restart the career with, and hopefully rebuild. The anime world hasn't been too impressive though, so 2011 has a lot of work to do!

    To be brutally honest, I have never cared about the whole debate about "line-art accurate" that does tend to go down sometimes on the forum. From a personal standpoint, I am happy that there is a decent-sized version of the Macross coming out that I can A)afford, and B)will look good on my desk. Ruskii made an excellent point that is a good compromise. I too would buy a carrier pack, if one was made for the 1/3000. Makes the most sense to me.

    From the back. It is early on, when Alto takes over the VF-25F to fight that red Vajra. I'd have loved a shot of Ozma's instead, but I won't complain about what I got.

    Oh I get that. I'm also not complaining. I was more confused. That has also been expanded to Blu Ray movies as well. Those will not ship to the US as well. It really isn't a big deal, there are many other sources to get this stuff from.

    I guess? I made the orders for the Blu Rays in January, and they went out fine. Maybe it was an error? I tried out random items and still got the same message. I know they won't do figure sales to the US because of child porn laws (yes...your transforming jets may be considered kiddy porn in the states according to Amazon Japan). I got my billing statement from Ami Ami, so I am not too concerned about the whole thing now. There are plenty of alternatives that are more than willing to charge a premium.

    I placed my order today. Interestingly enough, Amazon Japan will no longer ship anything to my address. I received all of my Frontier Blu-Rays through them up until the beginning of the year. I guess I will see if I actually get my copy of the hybrid in time. Ami Ami is supposed to send me my billing statement shortly. I'm a little disheartened at how hard this thing seems to be to buy right now.
