1. It's been licensed since before it began hence they're being so few groups working on it. I think Nanashi is till going allbeit very slowly.
2. Are things always that expensive in Europe? 318292 As I understand things, the prices in Europe tend to be set in a make-believe world where 1 pound/Euro = 1 US Dollar. So, at least for video games, yes. 318296 Yes, that's exactly how it is. Don't worry, you won't be forced to pay anywhere near as much.
3. Wow, only four episodes in and there's allready been a fantastic two parter story. This show is pulling all the right strings for me. New pics of the mecha trading figs, looks like they are pretty poseable, http://www.visualmedia.com.hk/cgi-bin/news...em=180609&utag=
4. ...makes him sound like an arrogant "You'll buy it because it's PlayStation!" bastard. And the sad thing is, he's probably right. 315403 I'll buy it becuase it has Metal Gear, what I'll do with it after that depends on what excluisve titles it has.
5. Those toys are pretty good for under 3000yen a piece.
6. Ep11 of Aquarion is out now from Anime Kingdom and with this ep the show has suddenly gone up again in my opinion. This episode is vastly superior to just about all of the ones before it and focuses on Reika and her trying to escape the misfortune she belives follows her.
7. Was the Gold Murasume not close enough to the Shiki for Fukudas liking?
8. Gunota says, "HCM-Pro Destiny Gundam (September, 2,100 yen)". So what happened to the Asshimar that was supposed to be the next one.
9. Like the title says, the new series has finally started and there are allready two eps available for download. The humour is still pretty much the same but is as entertaining as it's always been, there aren't really any new mecha to speak of but the Lambda driver is finally explained in some detail in ep2. Oh and the new bad guy is a nutjob, they're always entertaining. Finally, this third series looks like it might finally bring with it some decent mech figures, I found this pic of some Upcoming trading figs last night on talk.toys.
10. I've been seeing these around on bbs'es and such for ages now but I wa snever that impressed with the "mythical beast" ones. These new gold Zodiac ones however are very impressive indead. Just how much of the armour is actually metal though?
11. I never thought E7 would be dull, I just thought that Aquarion looked to be the more exciting show. I can safely and honestly admit that I was way wrong, Aquarion has proved to be very dull and lifeless as others have said. I still want the Chogokin toy, anything with that level of engineering is just too cool for me to pass up. But Eureka is now the show I wait with bated breath for.
12. I posted some concept art for a Gunbuster II a few pages back, I wonder if they'll actually use that.
13. They allready did, some months ago in fact. Check out HLJ.
14. Quoted for truth. I'd love to see either Sentinel if it's mecha driven or a Turn - A sequel if it's story driven. I'd give anything new a fair chance as well.
15. Sounds interesting, I'll check it out.
16. The new one just got released yesterday, so is anyone planning on getting it straight up? I'm absolutely loving the copy of Alpha I got for Dreamcast thanks to your help guys, I have a few trvia questions but they can wait for now.
17. Now the boards are back I thought I'd try and keep some interest alive for this cool show. Ep 8 is now available subbed and features a nice scene of teh Nirvarsh transforming while the camera is focused on Renton standing up in the cockpit. It's quite dramatic and gives a real sense of scale that robot cartoons so often seem to forget about using to their advantage. On the subject, the Nirvarsh variable figure is out sometime this month so here's some cool pics, http://www.amenbo.com/img/toys/diecast/new2/ERS-TM01-300.jpg Finally, the show has been officially announced by Bandai US, they're aiming for a fall release for the first dvd and it will likely show up on CN as well.
18. I've not been interested in Toynamis stuff before but now that's got my attention I've noticed how nice the Alphas look. I think I might pick up a Shadow one.
19. Awesome, so pleased to see that they're making one. I feared I'd have to buy the toy version. Is there any word on what gimmicks (if any) it will have? I'm hoping for at least an opening cockpit and those adjustable wing things on the rear deck. I didn't manage to hold a clear image of what they were in my head after the film, they did their thing and were off screen again. Speaking of which, it was an absolutely amazing movie. Not just an amazing Batman or superhero movie but the best movie I have seen in a very long time. I enjoyed it loads more then SW or even Sin City.
20. I personally am currently on tenterhooks to find out whether that HCM Pro Asshimar will be variable or super accurate. I'm hoping for variable as I really want to see a transforming Zeta to go with the rest of the AEUG team. Plus if it is variable then there could be a good chance of seeing a Hambrabi & Gabthley since they were just announced for the MSIA line.
21. I loved the first series, was a bit dissapointed by the second as I didn't realise it was going to be mechabattleless. I did think it was funny though but I gave up on it after going "wtf? Where are the mechs?" everyweek. I'll probably buy it when it's released over here and I absolutely cannot wait to see the 2nd raid.
22. The only SOC I have is Eva 01 which is godadamn gorgeous and one of my favourite pieces from my collection. I want to get Dancougar someday, Eva, 00/02 and the original Getter Robo set whenever Banndai reissues it. I have allready pre-ordered Xabungle though, I love the smaller scale for him, it works really well and allows for the masses of weapons he has.
23. Heh, scratch the GBA verison. I just found a brand new DC SRW Alpha from a UK seller for less the £20 shipped. Bargainus Maximus! Can't wait to play this now...
24. Wow, these games sound totally mad. Great answers, Abombz! & JBO. Thanks a ton for your help. I've decided to get a GBA one first to see how I like it as there's plenty of those on ebay but no DC versions. btw, the multi region converter I have for DC is one of those unlocking discs that you put in first then the game. Is there one of these for GC? also, I forgot to ask but do these SRW games have multiplayer modes? Thanks again.
25. I didn't like the moustache at first either but as soon as I really got into the show (which was pretty early on) I stopped noticing it and now I really like the design of the Turn A Gundam. Turn X as well.
