Oh yeah, I forgot to mention how much I liked the six speed gearbox on the Spearhead.

70Eps, where did you hear that? ANN's encyclopedia has it at 50 for this show. 22 was good, I can't recall enjoying character development episodes so much in a long time. And we finally got to see a full launch, yay for mecha fan service. Maybe it's just me but does anyone else think that Ray's looks and expressions bear quite a resemblance to Anemone?

Twilight Princess has been held back untill late next year for Nintendo to work a new Revolution compatable control system in to it. The Revolution itself will also be launched around the same time. In this way it will serve as an amazing swansong for the Gamecube and as a must have launch title for the Revolution. All of that swordfighting and fgishing action shown in the controllers demo trailer will hopefully be on show in this one game. All of this is from a UK magazine, "NGC" and is summed up here, http://www.gamesradar.com/news/default.asp...bsectionid=2504

Shoji Kawamori Designs Transformers?
Fort Max replied to ComicKaze's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It has been in the TF thread, I put it there. no in fact it is quite small, it will most likely be diecast metal, it will be probably no taller then a Gundam Fix figure, i am pretty certain Image Anime and Big Bad Toy Store are taking pre-orders 354680 It's about half the size of the orignal Prime toy. -
New Gundam FIX and ZEONOGRAPHY on the way...

I saw Hambrabri coming, looks like MSIA will continue to influence the choice of suits for HCMP for a while yet. Perhaps when the Zeta revival is done with, they may branch out in less predicatable directions. As for Hammy itself, I'm nowhere near so keen on it compared to Zeta. It's nice to have figures of these designs for the first time but from looking at the msia, Hbb is a bit of a mess to my eyes. -
I just saw it an hour ago, the whole film was engrossing and rarely dull. The picture of life from the depression was quite fascinating to watch & the boat scenes built up the tension beautifully so when they reached the island I was allready really living this movie. The special effects were absolutely amazing, that may have been expected but I'd still consider what they've created one hell of an achievement. I' have never felt genuinely sick from wtaching SFX creatures before but those bugs really did turn my stomache. The bits with the dinosaurs outdid everything Jurassic Park showed off in 3 movies in just a few scenes & it wasn't just the effects. There are some really creative scenarios the writers came up with that had me on the edge of my seat. When so many new movies action scenes seem blase, that's quite the accomplishment. Also, I'd never seen either verion before and only had a vague idea of how it went so I really enjoyed the story as well. The final scene really showed off how truly impressive the Empire State Building is & had me rooting for Kong all the while. The only cheesy bit was the rather tacked on feeling subplot between the first mate and the stowaway but I appreciate the attempts at making the crew something more then monster fodder. Finally, the best line of the movie was without doubt, "I am tocuhing the beast!", genious!

I actually like Seed but I fully agree that Turn A Gundam is probably the best the franchise has to offer. It's the difference inherrent in the artistic style that makes this show what it is and it shouldn't really be compared to the other series as it's not fair on them.

Because I'm not a purist and I wish to actually fund more anime being brought into my country by supporting it nativily, but then again well over 75% of the people who dl anime will never buy it in any form. 353428 It's true that there are a lot of people out there who will only ever download but for the record I'm not one of them and am eagerly awaiting E7's launch (scheduled for June here in England). The Spearheads were actually quite cool, I didn't think much more of them once I'd seen them on the website and in the new Intro but they have some funky tricks up their sleeves.

New Gundam FIX and ZEONOGRAPHY on the way...
Fort Max replied to GRAND CANNON's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I'm pretty sure that's why the set includes both the G-Defensor and the flying armour, though I think it's probably the first time that Bandai have made such an obvious concession for people who allready brought one version of the prouduct. Mine just shipped yesterday. It's SAL so it should be about a week, barring the chrimbo crawl. -

Wow, suddenly no ones buying it. Mine was pre-ordered, I'm really looking forward to getting it though I'm not so keen on that big block of a display base. I'm going to load up the Super Gundam, put it on a Destiny stand and have it throwing a punch at Asshimar. -
It hodls perfectly too. The only part that feels a little loose it's the one in the back that you have to take out for the vehicle transformation. Everything else is great. 352314 Good news, thanks. I need to give Holland some support even if he doesn't want it.
-
There is an obvious similarity but I think that this is even darker as poor Shiji had control taken away from him, he would have stopped immeadiately if he could. Renton just lost it and will have to live with what happened, maybe this will help him to understand Eurekas pain a little more. It seems that this show can safely be called a hit, I just got the latest issue of Dengeki Hobby and they have an 8 page dedicated section complete with a Ray=Out replica frontpage. I love how Holland has been taking out his weakness on Renton, he seems almost terrified that Renton will steal Eureka away from him but that raises the question of just what his interest in Eureka is... ... speaking of Holland, my cat is currently trying to oust the 909 from the top of the tele... *runs*
-
Nice, does yours hold together well? People who brought the Nirvarsh when it first came out said it had poor parts fit. The 909 I have however holds together perfectly so I was wondering if they had fixed the intial problems.

Ep 20 is out and has some much needed violence.

It may take some work, but if you're serious about about getting one then this is what I would do, Go to Zinc Panic, look this toy up with their search engine. Copy and paste the kanji version of the toys name into Yahoo Japan's search box. You might have to play around with the kanji to find some matches, like ebay things get listed under all kinds of varaitions of the same name. There are some translators here that will make it a lot easier. The top one works very well, a lot better then Altavistas Babelfish. Once you've found an auction you like the look of you can then use either Celga or Shopping Mall Japan (there are other agencys besides these as well) to bid on and handle the purchase/shipping of the item for you. Those are deputy services and they charge their own set fees depending on how much the won item costs so make sure you read their FAQ's and instructions before you use them. Then you just sit back and wait for your treasure to arrive. The only other way is to setup a saved search on ebay and hope one turns up. I'd go straight for the soruce though, if you need help then just post here and I or someone else will help you out.

Not strange at all, especially when you consider that Hollywood and even the world of anime insists on pumping out works that feature girls with guns, girls with swords, girls kicking butt, girl power, girls as heroes, girls creating tornadoes, etc... The new DOA movie, the Resident Evil films, AvP, Tomb Raider, Noir, Burst- Angel, Scrapped Princess....As Jameson always said, "Crap, crap, mega-crap!" These people need to realize that the whole girl-power, Spice Girl thing died a long time ago and has no credibility with the public... 349933 I dispute that Scrapped Princess be included in that list, she's not exactly made out to be Lara Croft. That aside, this movie does look bad, I fear for a possible Metal Gear movie.. Execs stay away!

Episode 19 is now available and though the subs have fallen a bit behind the 3rd opening single is also out. I've watched it and I have to say that I felt dissapointed watching this episode, but only because it seemed so damn short... There are some cool military mechs in this episode.
