  1. I'm still holding firm on card model, I'm not saying it'll be a cheap nasty model though. Something akin to (but much more complicated than) Masterpiece Convoy's trailer.
  2. I'm just thankful it doesn't say Gunbaster! Edited for news! I was pleased just now to see that Amenbo has put up a preorder for Bandai's upcoming SOC Spec Blue Comet Layzner figure, I was not so pleased to see the details. Remember, it costs nearly 8000yen, "BANDAI Soul of Chogokin new series "Tamashii Spec model". LAYZNER, appears in TV animation "SPT LAYZNER" 140mm (5.5 inch) size model, The plinth with built-in voice unit is attached. expected shipping date : late February" Is that it Bandai, is this why it costs nearly £40 because if that is so then that money can be very easily re-allocated. btw, Ideon pre-order also posted, no new details.
  3. Looks like I was right. From Gunota, "New GFF info From Amenbo.com: the GFF GP-03 Stamen comes with a "GFF-original simplified-type Dendrobium". In addition, the GFF Gundam X's release date has been pushed back to late January."
  4. Here's another you might want to consider, Full Metal Panic. This is a trailer for the second main series (there's an in-between one called Fumoffu which doesn't advance the plot and is just silly fun) which is out soon but there are no spoilers for the first & it's very cool. http://www.fullmetalpanictsr.com/
  5. I presume there will be a warping system as in previous games, be neat if it was still the Ocarina.
  6. Now that is what I wanted to hear, bravo Nintendo for making a game that lasts.
  7. Ah yeah, I remember them saying there would be one but as far as I know they haven't said what it'll be yet.
  8. I am dying out here waiting for them to announce the inevitable DS SRW game...
  9. Dancougar was a gattai super robo show in the era of real robots, it was also noted for being one of very few shows to not show off everything the machine could do in the first few episodes. I've not seen it but I've heard that Dancougar isn't even fully formed until about halfway through the shows run thus keeping mech heads watching just to see what other tricks it had up it's sleeves. The plot was good too apparently, not that such a thing would matter in the presence of a robot as cool as Dancougar.
  10. YAKSHIMASH American People, go see his movie film, is Niiiiiice.
  11. Now is a good time to get into it, there isn't loads out there but the OG franchise has only just started expanding. Games: Game Boy Advance has two, these are where OG started, 1 is out now in english and teh secodn will be out in a few weeks. PS2 has a game coming soon in Japan that is a combination of the two GBA games with chagnes/tweaks etc. No word yet on whether it might an english release, it all depends on sales of the GBA games so buy those! Anime The OVA is set after the GBA games (I belive), is three epsiodes long and doesn't really achieve much. The TV series (Divein Wars) is a straight animated version of the first GBA game that follows Ryusei's story but will have some minor differences for fans who have allready played both to look out for. Toys There are some but they're sporadic and expensive, search HLJ for info. Kits Kotobukiya has done a fair few already in nice affordable plastic kit form, they are already nearly as accomplished as Bandai's kits.
  12. Pity it's only a novel (for now at least), be nice if it got translated and released like Tomino's originals have been. That Gundam certainly does look sharp but you know it's going to get spoiled with a silly looking backpack before long.
  13. Which is why you can delete them and then get them back again for free at a later date. Pretty cool feature in my opinion.
  14. These pictures are all from toysdaily, http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=59679 Looking simply amazing, I've gotta not look at all these pics now otherwise I might ruin it for myself.
  15. My thoughts exactly, though I was going to pick up the palm cation figure as it would go well with a shelf full of HCM Pros. btw, Am I the only one who thinks that "Palm Action" sounds filithy? *ahem* Sticking with the subject of Layzner, I'm hoping the inflated price of the SOCS version (twice that of the kit and 2000 more then the Eva) will mean that Bandai may be including the Layzners little backpack collection as modelled here by Kotobukiya's contribution to the sudden resurgence of interest in the Blue Comet, http://www.hlj.com/product/KBYAM-01
  16. Spikes? Are you talking about what I term the towers? aka, the weapons pods? If so, they probably can rotate but doing so would unbalance the thing quicker then you can shout an attack name.
  17. All I've seen of Layzner is a b&w art card next to sepc Eva at the last event. (meant to pst a pic in the firs post) It showed outlines and lots of mechanical detail, given it costs another 2000yen more the Eva I'm expecting something with lots of opening panels and internal detail. So pretty much a toy version of their new Lyazner kit, http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN945076 btw, I will be keeping the first post of this thread as up to date as I can with all new details and the latest pictures, I may archive older pictures in a photbucket account if anyone wants that?
  18. Didn't they already do 01 in the Fix line? I know 02 and 04/Gerbera Tetra are in the fix line up.
  19. The timing here couldn't have worked out better for me. I am having Gunbuster delivered to my folks home and it just happens that I will be up that way the weekend of the 19th for my old man's birthday. With GB all paid up and listed for the EMS treatment it should get there before I do.
  20. You could always try this guy, he's fairly new on the scene and is offering a service that seems too good to be true but it might be worth your while to ask, http://tokyohunter.blogspot.com/
  21. Those three little guys are included with an R version of the Xabungle that you can only get by mailing in some form or something from the new SOC book.
  22. Oops, I made a very bad job at reading those last few posts, it's all those new SOC's, they're to blame, they've turned my mind to mush.. Yeah $70 does fall a little short of providing a dendrobium, perhaps it's card mockup of one.
  23. Remember remember the 11th Nov for the season of Gunbuster shall soon be afoot, I can think of no reason the Gunbuster season should ever be forgot! In other news: Fans of Ideon can expect to be mugged by Bandai around March time to the tune of 20'800yen! News from Zinc Panic
  24. GP-03 is renowned for having one particularly large accessory.
