  1. More of Assualt Aquarion can only be a good thing.
  2. Anyone seen this? PS3 so expensive that even scalpers lose out!
  3. I'm afraid Bandai can't allow that Graham, HCM Pros have sold too well y'see and so the scale has to be changed so Bandai can start from scratch now they know the concept sells etc etc Yeah, I'm peeved with the change to a bigger scale. It's a nice figure and if it's a one off then I won't have a problem with it but if they're just gonna re-boot the whole thing and leave the 1/200 figures in the dust then I'm not gonna bother anymore.
  4. Colonys, asteroids, the occasional space station, he's a resourceful type.
  5. Will the Char Aznable alike share his inspirations enthusiasm for "saving" the planet...
  6. Perhaps it'll be more of an Aquarion Plus
  7. Oohhh, Satelite animating = cool E7 esque Character designs = fine with me Kawamori desgining planes again = priceless I hope this show is good, all the current mecha offerings have been dissapointing.
  8. The "deal" is that there simply aren't enough Gundam figures out there to yet eclipse the human population of the world. Bandai as ever strides towards this goal with complete assurance in their righteous path! Also, the new figure rocks, http://www.zincpanic.com/view_article.phtml?id=26696
  9. Cheap toys that you get addicted to buying and find yourself in need of a fix when you don't buy one in a while etc. For me it'd be HCM Pros despite the fact that they're not really cheap they fullfill all the other criteria. Best toy: hands down it's Gunbuster the SOC Worst toy: Er, dunno, I don't buy bad toys. ;P

I think that links getting posted about once a month at the moment.
  11. Better get an RX-78 then.
  12. I finished it early Sunday morning with about 50hrs+ playing time, loved the various references back to OoT and the double clawshots are the best item ever. Not sure if they make up for the many missing items like my previous fave the mirror shield or the magic spells/arrows from OoT. The ending was good and by the end I had become really quite attached to Midna, it was cool how Zelda was almost a tertiary character in this game. Overall though and thinking back I think I still favour OoT for it's genious use of the time travel mechanic, the entry into the Temple of Time in Twilight Princess just proves once again how well that idea worked. Still need to get the magic armour and do the cave of ordeals, which I only found after playing again to look for heart pieces. btw, Most of you have probaly seen it but there is a rumour or such on games sites saying that the next installment which will be on Wii only has already been in development for a year. Perhaps this is to make up for the huge anbd painful wait for TP. Either way, I hope to see Midna again.
  13. My Wii is poorly. The wireless internet gizmodery inside it is refusing to work properly, since I took it out of my apartment and round to my mates last weekend it has been unable to connect and permently stares at me with it's evil mode cyclopian eye! Seriously though, the wireless connection worked like a charm when I got it the Friday before last and now it doesn't. I hope it won't have to go back as I just finished Zelda in the early hours of sunday morning. Gonna call Ninty later on today and see what they say. Congratualtions Hikuro, glad to hear you got one at long last. That's gotta be the most well deserved Wii yet.
  14. Wow, I only knew about 70% of those at most. Hilarious though.
  15. Trauma center got delayed here in the UK at the last minute and now on;t be out until Jan sometime. I was hoping to have this one at my new years party as it would have gone down a storm, who doesn't want to pretend to defibulate people...

"Watch this space!" A forthcoming announcement? It would probably be around or shortly before the FP pack comes out for the 19 then.
  17. I haven't thrown my remote anywhere just yet but I have noticed that the little zippy plastic bit that's suppsoed to keep the strap tight around your wrist isn't even remotely cpable of actually doing this.
  18. HLJ has both of these at 8'???yen a piece. Not a bad price considering their size and the Amuro/Char figures are quite nice too.
  19. Yesterday was Wii day here in the UK and despite pre-ordering quite soon before launch I got's me one! Couldn't get Wii play anywhere in my town but my Sis picked up a copy for me elsewhere so I'm very happy this weekend. Like the new controls in Zelda, only trouble is you don;t need to have the Wiimote pointing at the TV constantly so when you do need it there I suddenely have to swing it up and point it back again. Having items on the D-pad but only being able to use them when they're set to B really confused me at first! Anyone else find that the pointer sometimes gets stuck in the edges of the screen or worse still won't recognize when it's being pointed at the screen even when it's right in front of it? Wii/Mii numbers/etc coming later. btw, Who's getting Elebits?
  20. I think he means they should play after the episodes like Tachikoma days. All the info sounds good to me, hope they do the promotional card thing over here though.
  21. CM's are only just getting started in that arena but they do like Macross and they've demonstrated already that they'll do pretty much whatever they want to.
  22. I can't really understand why this hasn't been reported here already but never mind, *ahem* Diecast Patlabor anyone? Ok, so they're not SOC but this thread is the best place for them since CM's corporation seems to think they can take on Bandai at their own game with their Brave Gokin line! These are expensive, 12'800yen for a 7" figure. But check out the features list: You get a set with enough different parts/pilot figures to make either Ingram 1/2 from the move or 1/3 from the TV series. Working patrol lights! 80% metal (apparently) Opening cockpit Extending hand & opening revolver holster SOC grade display base modelled after the vertical dock awesomeness as standard Movie set is out in Feb, TV version follows in March. edit: Zinc Panic says the TV set is a store exclusive and will be limited as such, http://www.zincpanic.com/view_article.phtml?id=26630 CM's is also doing a Brave Gokin of Goshogun, I know nothing about this guy so I'll just link to Zincpanic's article, http://www.zincpanic.com/view_article.phtml?id=26551
  23. I think that's probably because these are all licensed from TSR, that assessment is strengthened by this next pic that CF18 over at ToyboxDX got out of Nov's Hobby Japan (the first being from the October issue). These really look good but it's going to cost a small fortune to assemble a whole team.
  24. Seconded, fell asleep during the second episode.
  25. You can get Super Robot War Alpha 3 for half price and with free shipping now from yesasia.com and that is the mecha fans wet dream.
