I've been buying Takaras little Actic Gear figures up till now but sooner or later I'm gonna get a big scopedog and it'll be one of Takaras for the added paint and the inculded figure.

It's a little set of swap parts, head, front of the shoulders (for the machine ID numbers) and pilot figure with some extra little touches like license plates and Alphonses name badge added with stickers. You also get plenty of weapons and a nice big stand modelled on the mobile carrier from the show.

And a set of min figures of the supporting cast, both are in scale with the BG labors, pretty clever idea by CM's for getting accessories out there without having to over charge for them. The non scale figures included in the set are pretty nice as well, the one of Noa Izumi buckling her helmet on is one of few "girl figures" I would feel happy to own.

That's a good deal you got there, I paid $100 with CPM's own online preorder scheme. Not that I mind, it's still damn cheap for this old skool finery. Ality isn't in the original Votoms btw, he's from an OVA called "Armour Hunter Mellowlink" which I haven't seen but would really like to.

Any chance of more Garlands? I know a lot of folks including yourself were dissapointed by shoddy parts but I like mine a lot and would buy an E=X one without hesitation.

Just get Central Park Medias complete series set in the big, shiny "ammo can" tin. It's the orignal series, the longest and as mentioned the set comes with a book that gives details on all the followups/spinoff's etc I'd never seen it either but I now knows enough to talk AT's!

Yeah they did say that originally but I thin PSP's numbers have been less then impressive so much like Konami porting MGS:4 over to the Xbox 360, Rockstar have been forced to port Vice city stories in order to turn a decent profit. That's only my own idle speculation though, I'm pleased because it's more GTA for those who don't want a PSP and it's cheap.

Aye, the book is fantastic. I'd never seen Votoms before and it was really interesting tor ead the book bit by bit as the series progressed. Looking forward to the new one, is Ryosuke directing again?

The Leigoss already looks nicer then the Ingram, I don't know if the vintage look was intentional but I really hate those exposed screws.

Quite a bit actually, mine is back at my folks place and I can't remember for certain but each ship is about 20-30% metal. Edit: My memory is terrible!

Really? I know the X designs are cool but I did't think they were really that popular. I was surprised just to see the new X fix figure. I would go nuts for an MG Double X tho...

Looking pretty sweet, I hope there's gonna be some new mecha in it somewhere though at the very least it should mean re-runs of the existing Aquarion toys. Anyone know how many episodes/running time etc?

Ah, thanks for the info guys. I noticed the Gakken logo but I also saw both English and Japanese names. I was mostly curious because I haven't seen a transforming Yellow or Houquet type other then the Imai kits. I'll be forgetting about these though based on those posts, just spent an afternoon re watching the tail end of Mospeada and now I have that pang of longing for a ride armour toy. Can't afford the good Gakken, not got the skills to build the Imai kit well and don't want to risk Toynamis.. what's a motorcycle freak to do!

No idea if this is the right place to ask but I came across these on ebay and was wondering if they are some kind of KO, I've never seen Mospeada toys that look like these before.
