  1. Finished today.. man, that was short. Took me around 10 hours to complete. Felt like it was rushed and wasn't completed. Had gifts and what not, but they were pretty pointless as the party dialogs just wasn't very deep compared to Origins. There was some interesting stuff hinted at when anders and justice talk to each other that I would have liked to have seen explored. Also, I didn't feel the combat really took into account the new level cap. My mage was blowing through most mobs with ease. And the dragon battle and the end boss were swift and easy compared to the similar fights in the first game. Overall, I have to say in terms of hours and new challenges, it's not really worth the money. For hardcore fans only.
  2. CC made them go back and censor past episodes with muhammad and now there's a pretty sizeable fan backlash against comedy central. Their facebook page is flooded with angry messages and other people are taking it upon themselves to post pictures of muhammad in response.
  3. smokey isn't in Locke's dead body, we've seen dead body, Smokey just looks like locke
  4. not likely, the level of destruction shown in DYRL wouldn't come close to what would actually be needed to sterilize the earth.
  5. No, I got that part, I'm just saying killing hundreds of people so he can prove to MIB that people are good is rather morally ambiguous
  6. I'm not annoyed, I'm just stating what I think based on what the show has shown us so far. Jacob kills indirectly and his followers kill, kidnap, and brainwash people so I'm not terribly inclined to believe what he says either. okay, I'm just saying the guy who has killed more people than the evil guy might not really be on the good side.
  7. true, sorry, south park and comedy central have long been synonymous in my mind.
  8. No, but if you cause an airplane full of people to fly over an area known to be hazardous and they all die horribly as a result, you are responsible. What the survivors did to themselves is on them, but what happened to all the other passengers, that's on jacob.
  9. I thought the soundtrack was instantly forgettable, but more than that, I thought thematically it was contrary to the tone the game was trying to set. They're supposed to be on the run, hunted by everyone, unsure what they're supposed to do or how to do it and for half the game (story wise) at odds with each other. But the music is devoid of any tension or urgency and downright bucolic at times. To me, it's just another example of what I felt of the game as a whole. Lots of things that are interesting as separate elements but unable to come together to form a cohesive finished product. On the other hand, it was nowhere as tedious as Lost Odyssey, so there's that.
  10. At least it makes sense from a story point of view in ME (though not from a game mechanics) as the story is about Shepard, but in FFXIII the story isn't about any of them individually. I find it odd that there was howls of protest that ME and ME2 were RPG-lite but that level of angry rhetoric isn't present when people talk about FFXIII. Do people really just equate a cumbersome inventory system with a game being an RPG?
  11. Why so angry? No, I won't be all angry, nor do I sit around trying to figure the show out. I just don't think it's as clear cut that MIB is bad and that Jacob is good. Jacob causes boats, planes and all other manner of events that cause people to die so that he can have his candidates come to the island. Just because Jacob doesn't directly kill those people doesn't mean he's not responsible for their deaths. If you cause the circumstances that leads to someone's death, you're still held responsible for their death. That plane, those boats, didn't go off course on their own accord.
  12. Yeah, I don't much like the battle system either.
  13. and yes, the mac + fold booster is the same design as the m7 booster.
  14. I suppose that depends on the specific beliefs about the afterlife. But even so, then what makes MIB "evil"?
  15. it's pathetic that South Park caved in to those religious nut jobs.
  16. Why, because Jacob says he's evil? Jacob has killed FAR more people than MIB.
  17. Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to imply you were implying he was a "good guy", just that I don't think there are "good" or "bad" guys when it comes to the non human entities behind the curtain.
  18. I don't think there is a "good" guy. Jacob is a pretty amoral bastard as well, they both manipulate and kill people to suit their needs, so who's to say MIB is the bad guy cuz he kills people himself while Jacob uses phenomena to do it?
  19. yes, they shouldn't have done a hash job in the first place, but short of issuing half of a new toy or a kit that requires a drill, cradle gear is probably the best anyone can expect.
  20. I know it's rare but sometimes I do just say things like "awesome" and mean it in an entirely non-ironic way.
  21. I think it's the best solution, all things considered. I'd rather have good looking cradle gear than shopping cart pug wheels.
  22. haha, awesome. Landing gear plug into base, valk sits on top like a cradle.
  23. making of featurette of that shell commercial with the transparent 370Z
  24. It still doesn't explain why they would only dock one ship and not a bunch of them working on hacking the systems. The Blues had no problems using firepower to overwhelm Destiny, why would the treat the ship so gingerly when they were the only game in town?
