  1. I like what I'm seeing. I had no problem with the streamlined gameplay in me2 and I wouldn't mind at all if me3 continues at that level though I would like to see more armor customization. The idea of total war on earth is great though.
  2. water eventually gets under the suction cups and then they slide and then the surprised owner of said mat becomes the recently deceased owner of the suction cup bath safety mat and it's good that he's deceased because his sad naked body will be found by the neighborhood cops after his neighbors complain of a strange foul odor.
  3. Suction cup bath safety mats. They're pretty much the opposite of safe

    Yamato 1/60 VF-X

don't feel bad, they were animated as guns of some sort in SDF: Macross more than once.
  6. yeah, I hated all that stuff as well AND the twins. I found them to be repulsive.
  7. usually those guys are talking about things like vacuum tubes and LPs though... not just old stuff.
  8. Besides, the SV-51 has some ridiculous wing articulation as well. They Z fold and those actuators are strong enough to give it a pseduo-ornithopter ability. That's got to be way heavier than just a simple swing wing desgin.
  9. hot rod car mode just looks way off with the up turned nose. I'll just get the hasbro version and keep him in bot mode.
  10. I'm guessing 300 is the new ceiling.
  11. Because the vf-22 was designed with different belly plates than the 21.
  12. Yeah, I guess. But it is also the gundam formula. Earnest and idealist kid stumbles upon secret prototype weapon just in time to save it from being destroyed. Not trusted at first he eventually proves to everyone that he's the best of the best! And his girlfriend has some sort of secret connection to the enemy! Prototype weapon gets destroyed only to be replaced by a new prototype based on the old prototype that is even more powerful which can be easily deduced by the fact that it has a bunch of stuff stuck to it.
  13. Let's just call it gundam: frontier and call it a day. Then everyone will talk about how brilliant it is.
  14. Phones. Why do there need to be so many different phones? I remember there used to be one phone that you leased from one phone company and everybody had the same phone. That was efficiency. But then some idiot had to go and regulate the industry and now there's all these different phones out on the market, bah!
  15. Picked this little guy up at target today. I'm really enjoying these new scout figures.
  16. kinda looks like a hodgepodge of parts from the 25 and 27 stuck together with a little sv-51 and yf-19 thrown in for sh!ts and giggles. Hopefully it's different enough that bandai can't recycle the dx 25 again and is forced to do a new, non craptastic design this time around.
  17. That's just what the global wall-industrial-complex wants you to think.
  18. see, without walls you'd have normal activity because folk would be outside being active. Walls, when will the madness end?
  19. Strollers, I hate strollers. I love my kid, why would I want to push him away from me?
  20. Weight is still a factor in space. There may not be gravity but there's still inertia.
  21. Walls are proof of humanity's insanity. Let's examine. We make walls to keep the outside out. But then we decide that's a bit oppressive so we poked holes in the wall to let the outside back in. But that defeats the whole purpose of the wall so we invent glass so we can go ahead and shut the outside out again while still being able to look outside but THEN we didn't like the fact that people on the outside could look in so we made drapes to block off the outside again. And then we realized it's hard to wake up without the sun so we made alarm clocks to wake us up instead of the sun only now people are figuring out that the sun really was the best way to wake up and there's all sorts of physical and psychological maladies one develops from not having enough sun so what do we do? Invent special lamps that mimic the sun. That's why I just stay outside! Only it gets a bit cold, if only there were some way I could keep the wind out...
  22. Steel strings for stringed instruments. All the classics were written when cat guts were the standard. Bach wrote with cat guts in his ears and we should listen the way he intended!
  23. it all went down hill with the opposable thumb, didn't it?
