Cyberspace is just the modern way to describe the world that ovlays our own world. Shakespeare just called it ghosts and magice and he did use it.

The Transformers 3 Thread--A Michael Bay Thread

meh, it's a gimmicky deluxe sized toy. it's hardly the worst prime figure ever. -
maybe if the world didn't get blown up immediately following that he would have gotten in trouble eventually.

He likes to prank the company, signing in at the front desk defeats the purpose

meh, graphics are okay. character models suck.

Hollywood bought the right to remake internal affairs, it was hardly stolen. And good luck suing anyone in china for IP theft. In general, the Chinese government doesn't really cooperate with foreign states or nationals when it comes to suing or prosecuting their citizens.

I'm choosing to look at it that Bandai and even yamato realize they're in danger of flooding the market with Macross products. I think when the next movie comes out the hi-metal line will get a resurgence as well as it gets pulled along behind the DX line up.

I think if they did just call it a vf-25x then reaction wouldn't be as bad. -
Wide spread reports of breaks weren't immediate. I remember when sh!t really hit the fan people were checking their 1a releases. Part of this was just how quickly yamato was rolling out new releases but we were at least two releases in when it became apparent just how bad it was getting. And we're talking about this here because we can't have a single yamato thread without talking about this. EVERY yamato toy thread gets derailed with QC issues.

First, the shoulder pin problem wasn't immediate and it didn't affect every valk, let alone every shoulder. I have several knurled pin releases and only one has an issue and even then it's only in one shoulder and that happened months later after dozens of transformations. Which brings us to Two. We don't know how far ahead yamato's production queue is. We were already well into the second or third release when problems with the shoulders started to surface. And by that time they may have already manufactured and boxed the next release or two after that. Even Hasbro doesn't go back and yank an entire product line to fix a manufacturing or design defect. And then there's the whole issue of how responsive the manufacturers in China are to changes in procedure or materials. Considering that th re-release of Alternity Convoy's leg panels still aren't manufactured correctly, I'm assuming not that much. All I know is that I have more than a dozen of the ver 2.0 vf-1s and half of those are knurled pin. I've had shoulder issue. All of my DX toys have issues with self atrophying joints and the 25 alone has more cracks than all of my yamatos combined.

Wearing a tarp as a robot hoodie doesn't scream defiance. -

If it's as simple as that those nacelles are going to hang down near the legs making for a really odd battroid. -

Wow, taking things a bit personal tonight, aren't we? Hey, if you like Megs of Arabia, good for you. And I'm glad Michael Bay is addressing your cape fetish. Maybe in the next movie Megatron can wear a big "M" on his chest and derive his powers from the sun or fight giant spiders in the sewers. And while I'm aware that this is TRANSFORMERS, I'd also appreciate just the smallest semblance to continuity. edit: and I'm not talk about some obscure bit of uber nerd transformers trivia from some UK comic that 4 people and their dead cat read. -

No, it's not. At least that made sense (megatron is so badass he doesn't need an earth alt mode). This doesn't even track with what precious little there is in the bayverse as far as what we know the transformers can and can't do. BB gave himself a completely new body instantaneously. Both Prime and Megatron were able to graft pieces of other transformers onto themselves to repair damage or replace entire limbs. Prime even restored the damage done to his own head. But now Megatron goes around wearing a hood? Come on, that's just ridiculous. edit: The one thing that I am enjoying is how much his new bot mode resemble's Prime's body. Really playing up that "brother" thing from the first movie. -

it's hard not to be cynical with this design. It really looks like it was designed to hide the myriad flaws of the DX 25. Oh well, I like the paint scheme at least, and that big dorsal fin on the head gives it a slight Nirvash feel which I find myself liking. -

lame. So megs can create a whole new alt mode for himself but can't fix his face? And if he had to wear something to cover his shame, why not a big G1 style helmet instead of this megatron of arabia thing he has going on? -
not necessarily. If it's just "delivery confirmation" then it won't update until they deliver it.

Graham has already said that there's basically no chance of yamato doing the vf-0D during your absence. Pretty disappointing news to a lot of people but apparently they just don't feel it will be worth all the new tooling that would go into it.
