Quality is a mixed bag. Articulation is better than the 25, it has the thigh swivels but it has the same problems with the wonky shoulder pivot point. GERWALK mode is much better than the 25 but maybe not as aggressive as on yamato. Plastic quality is the same as the 25's.. so it's glossy and comes covered in mold release. Paint is still a bit delicate with some people having problems with it scratching off though if you follow the instructions you should be alright. Joints seem to be self atrophying over time like the 25's have been doing but there haven't been the same sort of reports of the hinges cracking like some of the 25's have. Details are a LOT better. much better pilot figure, better landing gears, jewel inserts for the sensors. They're nice. If you're a fan of the design you shouldn't feel nervous about picking one up.

it was a japan only websclusive and it came with the fold booster. So if you live outside of japan, you needed to buy it through a proxy service which bumped up the price a bit.

Ver 1 comes with a stand. And Yamato, if anything, offers less with reissues, not more.

They have mortgage programs like that. Your entire paycheck goes to the bank and you just buy things using their credit card, but your balance is drawn against your mortgage but you're only paying the 4-5% versus 17-22% of most credit cards. Given how much yamato's cost, this might be a viable financing option for some of us.

I think it's just to create some tension so that the ARMD holds it's position and doesn't slide over to one end or another. Honestly, I can live without making the connection all complicated. It's easy enough to pop on and off if you do it from the ends and it doesn't get taken on or off enough to make a big fuss about it.

but the position of the ARMD varies from mode to mode. I think a better solution would have been for the back of the ARMD to fold in and allow for a more traditional male/female coupling with a hidden release.

I find they go in a lot easier if you connect them at the ends of the ARMD rather than in the middle.

this is amazing work. Looking at my stock SDF-1, it's sometimes hard to imagine that yours started off looking the same.

Personally, I think there's more than enough customization between the different powers, the different weapons, party members and morality choices. I could use more armor choices, I won't say no to it, and if there were DLC I'd probably buy them as well.. but it didn't cut into my enjoyment of the game. The only armor related thing that does bug me is that the helmets dont fold away during cut scenes. And I was far more annoyed that fem shep has the same body animations as male shep more than anything else.

Ordered the "American" patlabor. 65% off was just too good to pass up.
