are you referring to Nausicaa on blu-ray? I'm pretty excited! It's my favorite of miyazaki films. I remember the UC Santa Cruz anime club had a screening of it and it blew my mind. Pretty much the reason I got back into anime at all.

I'm the opposite, I hate over the ear cans. They always sit wonky on the head, and push down on my ears causing them to become sore. I'll take a nice pair of ear buds any day.

Regarding the flightpose stands: Some people have been reporting the silicone tips are unstable and either exude a residue or cause paint apps to peel off after prolonged contact. I haven't had this experience and my guess is that it was a bad batch somewhere but be careful nonetheless.

And having the neck exposed (like on the yf-19) breaks fightermode for you the same way not having half of the head, head fin and laser does?

how? Are you saying it's some sort of lynch pin that holds the fighter mode together?

Because none of those things are necessary for the transformation. You can keep the other shield on, you can choose one face plate, you can leave the gaps in the legs (like on the yf-19)... Those are extra parts where as on the hi metal version you need to take parts on or off to actually transform it. That's a big difference. It looks to me like the intake covers are an insert but maybe the mechanism that allows the LERX to slide down is occupying the space that would have otherwise been used for the intake detail. If that's the case, I much prefer the correct leg position.
