    I would take an MP10 for MP04 any day of the week. The MP10 sculpt is far and away superior to the old MP01 sculpt and despite the lack of MP01's double jointed legs, the overall posability is superior thanks to better hips and smarter weight distribution.

    they're saying hasbro soundwave is shipping with all 5 cassettes... I'll be cancelling my takara pre-orders the second this is confirmed.

    meh, I've done pre-orders with them, went through just fine. Shipping was fast and well packed.

    design is fine, if it's like mine, it's because the paint is uneven and one side of laserbeak is a lot more stiff because of it.

    even if you contort his legs around to give him more hip posability, you're still limited by his ankles so that you're forced to balance his back leg on his toe. A toe joint on the foot instead of the compartment would have given him much better posability

    I'm sorry, but you're totally misrepresenting that scene in order to make it work with the prequels. Luke knows that they're adopted, Luke is trying to get Leia to the point where she will accept that she and Luke are twins and that Vader is their father so that she will acknowledge that she too is a jedi and will continue the fight if Luke dies while confronting Vader. Luke asks leia, "leia, do you remember your mother? Your *real* mother?" In this context, what does asking Leia to remember Breha Organa serve to accomplish?

    why would luke care about leia's memories of her adoptive mother? At that point, luke already knows that he and leia are twins.

    got my MP soundwave today. couple of thoughts: 1. it's LIGHT. Not kidding, when I grabbed the MP box out of the big BBTS shipping box I thought for a second, "is it empty?" 2. the ankles seriously hamper posability. There's no back and forth motion. So it's great at an A stance and great for squating poses, rubbish at everything else. Honestly, I would rather they have used the extra space in the feet to build in some proper ankles than little compartments. 3. on the other hand, posability in the arms is fantastic. 4. the plastic feels... cheap. I don't know how to describe it... it feels light and hollow and brittle. I don't think it's any of that, other than light, but it feels that way. 5. paint apps, pretty generous. He looks good. 6. laserbeak is fantastic. would I recommend? For diehard soundwave/cassette bot fans only. Wait for the the TRU/hasbro release... I can't honestly say he's worth 200$.

    wow, that design looks great. Here's hoping hasbro doesn't cheap out and translates it properly.

    I don't mind, personally. It's an optional character to change up the transformation if you want it to... I'm going to guess that such an obvious money grab will come with an extra little goodie to make it more tempting.

    honestly, they're looser than I would like but not loose enough where it's an issue. But I don't see an easy way to get to it though to ball joint. I think those rubber treads on the bottom of the feet are hiding some of the screws holding it together.

    the pistons do just dangle, but be careful. They can get stuck in some of the cavities in the foot and will snap off if you're not paying attention.

    you don't have to take the whole thing apart. if you open up the screws, you can pop the ball socket out and then do whatever you want to do. Getting it back in is tricky. You need to fully extend the ankle and then use something like tweezers or needle nose pliers to hold it in place while you push the feet back on.

    what's this about the yf-19 unable to be posed in an aggressive gerwalk pose? and the same valk standing on one leg despite the horrendously awful ankles...

    JJ is set to direct another Star Wars movie! I hope this ends up being true, I think JJ is a great choice to breathe some life into SW.

    to basically do this but replace the square attachment peg with a gun barrel with maybe a pop up carry handle?

    hey, can I put in a request? How about turning the back half of the vf-17's gun into a submachine gun or pdw type weapon?
