Some good news, as reported by CNN: [8:33 a.m. ET Wednesday, 9:33 p.m. in Tokyo] Severe damage to the containment vessel of the No. 3 reactor at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant is unlikely, Japan Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said Wednesday, according to a Kyodo News service report. Also, the US military is sending in water trucks to help with the cooling.

Helicopter water drops have been suspended, number of onsite workers raised to 180 from 50 and trace levels of iodine and cesium have been found in tap water up to 50 miles away that has been connected to the nuclear power plant. Tests later in the day show no traces.

no, this was up to 1000mSv which is enough to cause radiation sickness. It's back down to the 800-600 range and workers are back on site.

Whatever dude, there's been two explosions and it's Japanese sources who are talking about meltdowns. Stop trying to spin our concern into some sort of japan bashing. That sort of sentiment is completely unfounded.

Calm down. It was JAPANESE sources warning that a meltdown in two reactors was possible and they even went so far as to say they were opperating under the assumption that a meltdown had already occured. This isn't some sort of japan bashing to report on what's going on and of course not everyone is going to be as well informed. Having said that, making jokes about the current situation is juvenille and incredibly insensitive and that particular comment is also massively misinformed. Kind of like saying you wouldn't buy a car made in Detroit because of 3 mile island.

my friend in Tokyo is saying they have the reactor under control. But I wonder how much of that is BS just to keep people from freaking out.

? I got the prince, the fade sword, the shield and the black emporium all in package, the only code I had to put in was for the staff and that was for signing up for the newsletter.

the pre-order codes come in an insert with the game. The other stuff, like the demo and newsletter goodies are all tied to your bioware/EA account so when you log in to the game they'll be there for you

Dragon Age II is out. If you pre-ordered, downloaded the demo, did the other stuff then you basically start the game with a whole host of moderately powerful weapons... powerful enough to completely unbalance the gameplay if you're in Normal mode. But I'm still having a blast!
