I do like the new way companies are marketing stuff now... kinda like before Ring came out, people were passing out tapes of the footage from the ring and public events...

I'm guessing this will be a kid oriented movie, like the thunderbirds movie coming out... then again, if anyone caught the GI-joe/transformers crossover comic, the one set during WWII... it is possible to do a gritty transformers story.... but I'm going with the kiddy adaptation, mostly since that's the way the shows and toys have been going.

well, those specs represent the bare minimum... playing doom 3 with a system at that spec would be pretty horrible I think... you'll probably need some monster rig to play with all the effects maxed out...

as long as miramax stays away from it, we might actually get to see it...

makes sense... when yamato was breaking into the macross fan base, they wanted to appeal to the hardcore fans, build up interest... now that they've established themselves pretty well, they probably want to control the information that is released... stuff like what toy is next, release dates... stuff like that. kinda sad, but oh well... as long as they make good stuff I will pay for it...

hmmm, from the look of that picture, it does look like the weapons are coming out of the arm... maybe it's a combination of both, the weapons are stored internally, the armour sleeve is fitted to protect the weapons.... I'm thinking the weapons take up the space usually used for when the hand folds in during fighter mode...

Actually, the heavy weapon consideration was one of the many things that I loved about Mac plus... it just showed a great deal of thought, not only intot he story and characters but also into the military application of these weapons. Consider that the Yf-19 and 21 were both designed to fold behind enemy lines... having more powerful weapons means that these guys could take out fortifcations, heavier mechs ( like the monster dispatched ), and punch a hole for conventional VFs to come in and still be able to back them up in terms of firepower. It's that sort of attention to detail that makes me love macross...

took a while to get into it.. but I like one piece, some of the characters are very annoying however but the story and the character arcs are all pretty good.

hmmm.... that little box thing on the side of the green one's head... does the box stick out from the rest of the head or is it just a detail... and if if it does stick out, is it only on that one side and if it's on both sides, isn't it missing on the MPC? ................ looked at the gakken version, and the gakken has the little box (up, near back of the head) on both sides, so it is missing from the mock ups shown... hope they fixed that in the production run.
