Meh, Nanashi does good work, imo.. he tracks down obscure pics, makes scans and let's the rest of us with neither the time nor the resources to do the work enjoy them. So keep posting Nanashi, I for one happily enjoy the fruits of your labour.

DYRL stands for Do You Remember Love... which was the movie version of the Macross movie. The movie actually fits within the continuity of Macross as it is supposed to be a movie *within* the macross universe, taking place well after the actual events of SDF Macross... hence the updated tech... the movie uses valks available at the time.. upgraded models. The Macross itself was also retrofitted after the conclusion of Space War which, if you'll recall the end of the series, left the SDF-1 heavily damaged. Also, the two maritime ships that made up the SDF's "arms" were replaced with those space carriers ARMD. the bridge and main guns were also upgraded. There's a pinned thread in the movie/tv section that should answer your continuity questions.

i disagree that all valks need fast packs not every valk needs a FP.. but you should have at least one set... specially if you have a 1s. S types just don't look right without FP's, imo.

I went ahead and ordered it... didn't have broadband for a while so I wasn't able to bittorrent the early eps when it came out, and now... so few people are seeding it's just not worth the hassle.

Yeah, the first couple of times I transformed grimlock I had his hands and doors popping off, and that whole big under carriage thing. Ingenious transformation sequence... but a pain... and I do wish the upper body locked in a bit more firmly than it does now. Still, grimlock is one awesome transformer.
