Agent One has responded with what is obviously humor and others have tried to use humor to diffuse this but you persist in escalating the situation for some reason. I'd take a hard look at what's going on in your head before you start playing shrink and analyzing other people.

yup... I pretty much leave grimlock in bot mode for that reason... that and I'm afraid his "spine" is just going to snap one of these days... thinking about picking up another one just to leave in car mode.

I personally love the SV-51.. after a perfect yf-19fp, it is the valk I desire most... why? I love that it is an extremely aggressive plane. this is a plane that does not care about being stealthy or sleak, it's just an old fashioned workhorse that is loaded to do some serious damage. The mechanics of transformation and the detail are very unique and represent analagous evolution... like the bat wing and a bird wing, both do the same thing but do it differently. The SV-51 uses things like lift fans and articulated wings, completely unique from the VF's. I really appreciate the fact that the SV-51 really captures not just the design asethetics of russian military tech but the philosophy behind it as well... stuff like the articulated wings, the telescoping head, the lift fans.. these things look and feel like something russian engineers would come up with.

If yamato has indeed decided to drop the macross+ license and perhaps even the macross zero license, perhaps macross is not far behind?

Yup, I would buy multiples of the yf-19 done up in 1/48... heck, I'd buy multiples of all the mac+ valks if they were done in 1/48 scale.

So what do you think of him? I got my GF wave 1 assortment last week. Galaxy Convoy is the best since MPC. Well IMHO he is. I'm really digging him in bot mode... after the last 2 convoys that I thought were disapointing, I'm glad to see that GF Convoy has some pretty good articulation and actually looks good. I think in cab mode he's a bit too long, but with all the other stuff put on he doesn't look bad, and I'm not thrilled about the hole on top where his head pops out of... I wish that power shield thing would pop on top to cover it. But I like the look of him.. I really like how he looks like an evolution from the RID convoy to now, instead of an all new design with little regard from previous convoys. And I think the transformation is pretty cool, some movements are very reminicent of Convoy which I like.

To think that a japanese person would draw upon japanese creation mythology in plotting up a story which is basically a creation story of humanity is not so far fetched as you're making it out to be. The story is very similar... even for someone like me who is unfamiliar with the myth and just read that particular link.. the two make two children first who turn out badly who they abandon (zentran and meltran) and then they go back and start over, but even their new children (one of them humanity) leads to one of their deaths... in his anger he punishes humanity (AFOS), but in doing so more dieties are created (humanity apreading across the stars). Are there stretches? sure, but many easily apparant similarities.. much more than say some african myth of a monky climbing up the world tree and crapping out land, or some turtle carrying four huge elephants carrying the world.

Actually, I think Zero is pretty clear that both the Anti-UN and the UN have done horrific things during war.. and even in SDF Macross, the UN isn't really the good guys.. they are shown as arrogant and unwilling to listen to the crew of the SDF about the nature and strength of their enemy.
