I don't know what all the griping is about.. I enjoyed the movie, the audience I watched it with also like the movies. I thought they did a pretty good job of taking the episodic nature of the book as well as all the non sequitors and tangents and making a pretty good movie out of it all.

played it. it sucks. the levels are simple and they don't change.. the first level looks like the last and plays the same way. game play is boring and repetetive. graphics are decent... sound is servicable... skip this one. it's a bomb.

Got the logitech case.. it's a little bit on the ginormous size and that makes it a bit bulky and akward to use and I don't like how loosely the PSP fits into the case.

What has George Lucas done with his life?
eugimon replied to ComicKaze's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
this is lame... lucas has turned his passion and love into some of the greatest movie franchises in history.. his technology and innovation of have changed film making and marketing forever. And weak sauce fan boys like you can only sit and gripe because you didn't get your lightsaber wet dream filled by him. -
I hope they choose a new name.. I think 360 is a pretty poor choice.. unless it's a big big shaped thing.. but the name can also mean that it's a complete turn around which I don't think is something they want to suggest...

Well, as Zentrandude mentioned, there's been a firmware release to bring the Japanese PSP XMD (that's the fancy name for the OS that Sony developed to run on the PSP, and probably the PS3 as well) up-to-date with the US release. But you shouldn't have to pay for it. Find a wi-fi hot spot, set your PSP's network settings so it can get on the network there, then scroll all the way to the left, then all the way up to the Network Update option. From there, the PSP should be able to update the firmware itself. As far as region coding goes, the option to use it has always been in place, but there are no plans to do so with games. It's the UMD movies that are being regionally coded. So, if you own a Japanese PSP, you can import the American version of, say, Ridge Racer (which has 7 more tours than the Japanese version), and it'll play fine. But don't import the R1 version of Pirates of the Carribean. Also, a japanese version can't multiplay with a US version.. so if you get wipeout japan for the d/l content you won't be able to race with your buddy that has wipeout US... on that note.. when are they going to release that /dl content over stateside...?

Yup... if you liked KOTR and hong kong kung fu flicks.. this is a great game. The fighting engine is a little more real time than KOTR, where KOTR had you que up your moves and then you could sit back and watch, JE is real time with you selecting different styles on the fly. The story and voice acting are all pretty good and seems to be a pretty good mix of the old cheesey and campy goodness of the old style HK flicks with some of the newer visuals and seriousness of this new crop of crouching tiger/hero/house of flying daggers type movies.

I hadn't heard that rumor. ... It'd be awesome if that was introduced at the same price point, like the slimmed-down PS2 with integrated ethernet was. I really wonder about this rumor... sony would have to have a really nice battery to be able to power that thing... but if it happened, I would get one... and that would pretty much kill the ipod.

there were some ET's in the senate during the first move... and this one is going to suck too.. don't fool yourself guys. suckiness punctuated by moments of awesome and then back to the suck.

DAMMIT! I don't know what is worse . . . the fact that the picture is 5x bigger than the actual stick or . . . that I am drooling over it! Damn you and your techophile Pr0n! On a sidenote, I managed to shrink NLA's DYRL down to 300MB from 1.2GB . . . my ipod can hodl 20 gigs. that's nice.

I laughed so hard until I cried.

Can pick up a 1gig for about $100: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDeta..._n=57&WT.mc_t=U I wonder if anyone is going to make a CF/SD card reader for the PSP? MemoryStick prices are ridiculous. Can you use that one? I thought it had to be the "Duo" version for it to work with the PSP. I think it HAS to be the Pro Stick Duo. yup, regular memory stick will not fit.

got mine today and got untold legends.. this things is sweet. love the screen very crisp and easy to see.. I think it feels better than the DS.. the button placement is jsut right for my hands. no problems with burnt and pixels, sticky buttons or flying UMDs... Spiderman 2 looked great and I could see myself picking some movies up for this thing later on as well.

? heh... I dun see nuthin.

there was a max reissue? also on the 2nd and third reissues, they have all the improvments. Unless you are a hardcore collector avoid the 1st issues of the 1A hikaru, and 1S roy. oddly, the first hiakru 1A isnt that bad.. sure the wing flaps tend to pop off, and the nose cone falls off more easily... but it didn't have the crooked skull emblem that the Roy 1S did... sides... my 1A hikaru is tighter in transformation that any of my other 1/48s.

while a HD would be very cool, I wonder what that would do to the battery life... I imagine that given how short it already is, a hard disk would shorten the usable life considerably....

yup, macrosworld frowns on stealing copyrighted material. try doing a google search or be an IRC monkey.

sweet... looks like it sticks a little further out but totally livable.. I would be very interested in a recast... if I still had my 1/60 vf-1s...

wel, I don't know how it will turn out in fighter mode, but battroid is a huge improvement!

hmmm... looks like too much material on the inside of the "jaw" line... but I guess you're pretty limited on that side because of the neck.. maybe if you carved into it a little and added some detail like on the 1/48 head?
